Pizza King — Restaurant in Appleton

(Appleton East location- Calumet) - The positives include the fact that their pizza is great! Service for the most part is good, although when I entered this evening, the male coworker asked, “Are you here for a pick up?” I responded that I was not but just was there to get a carry out. He immediately responded, “I’m busy and you’ll need to wait for a while.” I’m sensitive to today’s labor shortage but as he spent the rest of my time there with his back to me, I patiently sat at a table. As the phone was ringing and another coworker took a phone order, I went back to the counter. The two female coworkers were polite and apologized (as the male just laughed and kept his back towards me). Again, good help is hard to find and on this night, one poor attitude wasn’t enough to not to give this establishment a big thumbs up!...

I ordered a sub and after waiting for well over 20 min I could tell they weren't even making it, and it wasn't even busy. I watched numerous employees standing around off and on their phone. I finally said something and they admitted they hadn't started making it but will start now. After that, it took ANOTHER 20 minutes. So, about 45 to 50 minutes total to get my sandwich. They gave me a free bag of chips for my wait which was decent, but still, I genuinely think if I didn't say anything they'd have left my sandwich ticket sit there all night. After I had said something there was zero urgency shown; they made it slow as molasses and kept walking away from the sandwich table to work on other stuff.

Called at 7pm, due to a mishap at home, our oven not working well, and asked for a bacon double cheeseburger pizza and garlic bread, told us come at 7:30pm and it would be ready. Get home it wasn't even cooked, having health issues I cannot lay down for 3 hours after I eat. It's now 8pm and because our oven is garbage, it's STILL baking. We asked for it to be baked n ready for us as the GUY ASKED. $32 something for uncooked food.. absolutely not ok.. did call but no one to fix this.. idk if I will try them again or not.. haven't even tried the food yet.. nor do I know if I even will be able to eat it, again due to my gi health issues.. I chose this pizza place because of the reviews.. I read one bad recent review n the rest...
