Buffet y Restaurante Santa Fe — Restaurant in Arcadia

We had high hopes for this place as we all love Authentic Mexican and have never seen a Mexican buffet...

The place is pretty clean but it's an odd layout for a restaurant. The waitress was nice but definitely inexperienced and didn't seem to know much English. Also we never were asked if we wanted something to drink, after I asked for waters she never came to see if we needed a refill.

The food looked like it was sitting in the pan all day, and nothing was ever stirred. We tried a few things and it was all downright DISGUSTING! I'm not sure how they can screw up quesadillas, beans and rice!?We got there at 530 it was pretty slow so we figured they would "refresh" the buffet, but after 10 minutes nothing at all! The waitress finally asked how it was and I said everything is old and dry AF! She doesn't understand English so didn't matter much. I didn't eat more than a few bites and my kids felt sick immediately afterward. $18.99 is an absolute ripoff for this... They need to shut down the buffet at this restaurant. It is just terrible, maybe they have some good food when it's made to order, but I would not recommend this place to anyone. I would've ask for a refund, but with no one speaking English it...

This place is fantastic! The chips were home made and the salsa was amazing. Everything we had was portioned well and tasted great. I had fajitas and they gave me plenty of warm shell, more than other Mexican restaurants. They also didn't charge extra for sour cream and had a home made green and red hot sauce. My daughter had a quesadilla from the adult menu and it was so big it would have filled me up. My wife had shrimp tacos that she said were some of the best she has ever had! The server was prompt and helped with any questions we had and made sure to check back on us.

We highly recommend this place and hope to go back...

I would never recommend or go to this restaurant again. We had the buffet, most of the food was gone or very little left. and everything was cold. We had to find someone to help us and asked where we could get drinks. We saw there was an ice cream machine and tried to use it but it poured out liquid. I found a server to help us and we were told it takes a long time to work and it would just be a shake consistency. We had 2 adult buffets and 1 child buffet....with pop and we were charged 48.00. I had to find someone to get us our check. We had to adk for our chips and salsa after being there for 20mn. I have NEVER had such a...
