On Friday May 3rd 2019, along with other bread products, I bought a loaf of Organic 100% Whole Wheat bread with sell by date of May 09. When opened on Monday May 6, green mold was found growing on it and it was thrown out. When I called to let them know about this I was told they would replace it. I’m giving a one star review because they had no interest in knowing what type of bread this was, what the sell by date was or how long I had it before it went bad. Seems like they should be more concerned about such complaints and want to know if there is a pattern. Update: Changed from one star to three. I returned several days later. They replaced the moldy bread. They explained that the organic bread doesn’t have any preservatives and is thus more easily gets moldy if too moist...

There promotional stamp card idea is good I enjoy getting an incentive to shop there. However I just learned that if you have one stamp left and u fill it you have to come back another day before you can use it? Even if you have to spend 20 + in fuel they apparently don't care , I was told that's there way of making sure you come back another day . It left me leaving pretty upset that I couldnt just take advantage of my bonus for shopping there after I filled my card like any other place would let you . Maybe you could think about changing this policy since gas is astronomical these days maybe be a little more friendly to your patrons pockets and not force them to make unnecessary trips to receive a bonus they have earned by...

Love this place! Here’s why: A loaf of organic multigrain bread for less than half the regular Safeway price & at least $2 less than Winco’s, friendly & helpful people, fresh & clean store, & a big reusable shopping bag for my haul. I go once a month on my way back to Eureka from Arcata. Freeze most of it and we’re set for a month. They have every type of bread I used to buy at the grocery store, plus some I hadn’t heard of. Sweet treats too, from other baking companies (including my favorite macaroons!), and even some other yummy local products if you need a quick meal. You owe it to your food budget to...
