Rossi's Ristorante — Restaurant in Archbald

I have been going here for years and after the last experience will never go back. We shared our meals and they only offer one salad per meal. One of us opted to buy an extra salad and the other did not want a salad. The side salad was close to $7 and comes out family style with everyone else’s salad which is fine, however upon receiving the bill we were charged for two side salads. The waitress accused the person who did not want salad of eating out of the family portion so they needed to be charged. It was embarrassing and rude to be told that we were lying. It is also very odd that no one is around and then had the nerve to say they saw everyone at the table eating salad. The salad plate was used to eat bread. That’s why it was dirty. Maybe don’t serve the salad family style if you are going to be so obsessed with who is eating salad at the table. There was a table of eight of us dinning in for dinner tonight. We arrived at 630 pm and food didn’t come out till 8pm. I am sorry but I have severed at a local diner near where I live. The waiters was very rude when we got there. We asked for certain items that my table did not receive. I don’t care how many tables you have and I don’t care if you’re pregnant. If you’re pregnant then you should take less tables. Drinks were not filled, my fish and sweet potato was cold. Then at the very end she told the folks at my table that she was charging 5$ to someone card because someone didn’t pay the full amount of the tip….trust me I will not be back to your resturaunt. I will see to it that many others know about this as well. I am very surprised that a manager approved of this too. Never was ever told that my card would be charge additional money….this server did not deserve 20 percent tip. If I were to do that where I serve I would get fired. Server needed to be much faster. We had my grandparents 50th wedding anniversary party there. I was extremely disappointed. The staff was very rude. We had a buffet and there was barley any food put out. Our guest had to wait forever for them to bring out more. The food was horrible. Carrots were in huge chunks. Not appealing at all. Chicken was very dry. The pasta was over cooked.
