Boomarang Diner — Restaurant in Ardmore

What an awesome find! We are new to the area and randomly chose Boomerang Diner in Ardmore.

The menu is varied and each item looked amazing! Our server, Faith, is a gem! She has a great welcoming manner greeting us, she was full of great suggestions and because of her we will be back. Hopefully we can make it our weekly “go to” restaurant.

We had a BLT and Chicken Fried Steak and an order of the mushrooms. Kudos to the cooks as well! The CF Steak was perfectly tender, generous in size and reasonably priced! The BLT was huge … the bacon absolutely cooked to perfection it was also an amazing choice, great price and we will definitely order again.

Tony who got our drinks and kept them filled was a joy …. He was a pleasure to talk with and assured us we would love our meal! He was right! It was so nice to have a young man who is attentive and clearly enjoys working there as does Faith!

We have no hesitancy recommending this restaurant. The food absolutely tasted better than many of those high end dining venues we’ve been to and definitely served larger quantities and great pricing! You will not go away hungry!

The food will bring us back but so will Faith and Tony for being so friendly and kind to us!

My wife and I stopped here enroute to a local B&B. Upon entrance, we noted that place was very clean; it no only looked clean, it smelled clean. We ordered burgers; the Mushroom/Caramelized Onion/Swiss Cheese burger for her; the traditional burger with tomatoes, onions, lettuce, pickles and mustard for me. Both burgers can easily be described as the best burgers we've had in a long time. The condiments were fresh, the burger patties were hand-formed, done but juicy. We both ordered Tator Tots for our side; they were crispy on the outside, done but creamy on the inside. The service was fast, efficient, competent and friendly. When our food was delivered, by someone other than the waitperson that took our order, we were asked if there was anything else needed; the additional items were delivered quickly and with a smile. Well let’s start with the good. Coffee is really good for a diner. Diner is clean. Now the not so good. Server took my order for drinks. Brought drinks no silverware, spoon for coffee or to eat with. Took my food order. Never ever ever returned to my table. Would walk by and see my drink empty and keep walking. I am not talking about once, maybe 4 or 5 times. If it was not for the rest of the servers I would have died of thirst. Pathetic. Food was okay but nothing special. Toast slices were so small they reminded me of toast points at High Tea in England. Ask to get crispy hash browns that did not happen. Eggs over easy, yellows running including the whites. It is sad just how bad restaurants can screw up the easiest...
