Burgers and Fries — Restaurant in Ardmore

I honestly feel bad for waitresses and employees that get completely robbed of there last checks and there's been multiple ppl I know of personally thats worked here. Even one person put it to the test and reported them when it came out they indeed don't give out there last check. The sad part is they take advantage of young girls tips/ money. And the ppl that feel obligated to the extra tips and money are the manager lead waitresses and cashier smh. Even making comments about ppl not tipping on to go orders after being rude on the phone. After hearing about ppls experience working there. And then seeing how they treat their customers first hand is pitiful. The only customers they care about are good regular tippers smh. I understand it's not the business owner. So plz understand it's not the business owner fault of the actions of said employees when owner is not around. (The check issue has something to do with the Manager not the Owner) Just be wary of who you talk to and if you have any issues there's always Lone Groves diner 🤷 or plenty of other places to eat without the attitude or being...

Wellll...what can I say about this place without sounding like a total Debbie Downer, I took my 75 year old Uncle here to eat after a Dr appt, they were SUPER busy for it to be 2:45 pm. on a Monday afternoon. We got a double meat cheeseburger with fries and proceeded to ease down the road to eat them. As busy as they were, one would think that the meat would've been MUCH fresher and have some juice to them. NOOOO, they were way OVERcooked...black in color and I could pull the meat patties off the burger and they didn't even bend, it was like a Frisbee, super hard in texture!! The crinkle cut fries were excellent!! Customer service was excellent...but the burger, NOT SO MUCH! Not sure I can or will go back at their prices to try it again. $22 total for our food $2.19 for each individual order of fries! Crazy prices for what we got...maybe it was a fluke or someone new preparing our burgers, but a kid would know better not to serve these so I'm not sure how it sneaked by the grown women...

Always LOVE an old timey burger joint!🍔 Friendly staff. Flavor of the burger was absolutely spot on with that back in the day. Really wanted a malt, but too far to drive for it not to melt. Pumpkin bread pudding was OUTSTANDING!! And a good size portion. Large menu of choices and a constant flow of customers. Very cute back patio area with modern tables and chairs and a bridge. When waiting in the parking lot for your buzzer to go off, you have to figure out if you’re going to want to wait through four or five cars again to drive up to the window to pick up your order or strategically park up in the front.😂 The only negative? Was the burger was a little smaller than I had thought it was going to be especially for the price, Dbl cheese, large fries and bread pudding was $19, which wasn’t out of the norm for other places which definitely aren’t near as good.
