Arrecife 681 — Restaurant in Arecibo

We came here looking for good food and honestly just a good time. Sadly, we got none. We came in a big group of 7. At the start we greeted ourselves, we were not greeted and when we tried moving two tables to make one, they didn't let us. The workers told us to go to the lower level. We couldn't go down to the lower level because one of the elders had trouble walking let alone going down somewhere. We were very dissapointed in these workers and left immediatly. Even though we asked why we couldn't move the tables we never got a direct answer. The workers said that their manager didn't want that because they would lose money, but if we were to move the tables to one they would have got the close amount of money they would have got if it were 2 and maybe even more. The workers were terrible and disrispectful. We will never come back again and will warn others to not come...

Not recommended, bad service and waiting time! We stop for a casual beer and something to eat on our way to knowing different areas nearby. We were two families with kids and after we ordered we waited more than 45 minutes for simple turnovers and sliders. We did not get everything at once, they delivered everything little by little. We had to ask more than three times where was our food. They didn't even know. And first our friend's food arrived not at once but it arrived. And finally when we got ours, after asking again, we got our order incorrectly!! Seriously, it was an order of two sliders.... Arrecife 681 is a must if you are visiting or living in Puerto Rico. It is a whole experience between their excellent food, drinks, and environment. Jariela went above and beyond to make us more than welcome and she helps us to make excellent menu choices. The mojitos are excellent and you need to have the Sunset mojito which is beyond any expectations. The food is amazing. We started with an appetizer of tostones with birria which were amazing. For the main dish my wife had the octopus salad with a mofongo. For her to say that the food was excellent is was more than a compliment. I had a whole fried red snapper with tostones and it was beyond my expectations. Best tostones so far. We wish the owners and all the restaurant personnel the best and to continue with...
