I spent two weeks in Puerto Rico and literally there is no food-place I will remember as fondly as this one. The food was AMAZING! I was lucky enough to try most of the items on the menu (because I kept coming back).
I was also able to speak with the chef Daniel Elenen and I was astounded by the amount of work and love he puts into the creation of his plates. Literally EVERYTHING is handmade, from the burger buns to the fries, the ice cream, the juices, the sauces... everything! As an artist myself, it made me appreciate even more his gourmet menu! This guy knows what he's doing and yes, burgers CAN be a work of art! 😃 I live in LA and to be honest I haven't tried a burger as good as his.
I tried the beef burger (with amarillitos/plantain), the chicken burger and the mushroom burger. I tried the grilled cheese. I tried the oreo ice cream and carrot cake. All the different types of fries! Everything was delicious! 👏👏👏
Side note: I went crazy for the Pana (breadfruit) fries with mayoketchup!...

I needed to try as much from the menu, and was totally impress with the quality and taste of everything I ordered. There's no going wrong, everything is homemade with the best local ingredients. The burger and sandwich bun are delicious!!! Both the meat and the chicken are super juicy and tasteful!!! Must try the BORI Z (Portobello mushroom) vegetarian option!!! I can honestly say that those were the best sweet potatoes fries and pana tostones I've ever had!!!! (De pana que si) Delicious fresh parcha juice!!!!!!!!! The Sauces tasted incredible!!!!! andddd don't forget to order the ice-cream and carrot cake!!!!!
