Delicious empanadas and lemonade! Stopped on our way back from the Cueva del Indio after reading the good reviews and it did not disappoint! Food is freshly made - we all had the Tradicional Pastelillos (empanadas with beef, potato and eggs) - each one was HUGE, the potatoes were “melt in your mouth” delicious and the beef was perfectly seasoned. We went here and had the most amazing experience!! We were able to see a lot of whales coming in!! Hunchback whales they said! Epic!! Then our car wouldn’t start and seemed like the battery was dead, and the owner went to his home and got his charger and jumper cables and his business generator to get us back on the road again!! First of all, it is right on the coastline. Beautiful view and one of the best empanadilla I ever had. I had a camaron one, and it was delicious. There was so much flavor, and the crisp on the empanadilla was on point. My husband had a pulpo one and a pionono one, which is sweet plantain, ground meat, and cheese.
