Went for lunch yesterday, Wednesday, April 4, 2024. The service was awful starting with the person that received us at the entrance, who apparently is the supervisor, and the waitress that never smiled and it fact was not sympathetic at all. . Too many excuses and so difficult to get what we wanted. Supposedly there are there to make you feel welcomed but on the contrary they ruined the visit. To make it worse the food that we ordered was not good at all. We ordered queen snapper (cartucho), which was tasteless and overcooked. I am used to eating whole fish, usually snapper (chillo) and queen snapper in different places in Puerto Rico and without doubt this was the worst I have eaten. Of course, I just left most of it, although it was so expensive. Not recommended at all. For great service and great food, go to Playa Brava Restaurant which is about ten minutes away. Didn’t go there as unfortunately only opens from Thursday to Sunday. Feel embarrassed as took my nephew and his Japanese family who he brought to Puerto Rico for the first time. In fact when I told the supervisor this , she told me there were other Japanese there so it wasn’t such a great deal. This wasn’t true. She just didn’t want to make us feel that it was such a special deal. Perhaps it wasn’t a big deal but I just wanted them to taste great food and the so called Puerto Ricsn great courtesy. None of this happened. Don’t o there. Many other great fish restaurants...

This place was amazing and absolutely worth the drive from San Juan. We visited the Lighthouse and decided to find some food. My sweetheart really wanted lobster 🦞 and they advertised having some. The waitress let us know that they had tails, but not live. After a little disappointment, we learned that they had local fish. He choose the Whahoo and I chose the Dorado. Both of us got the olive oil, basil and garlic sauce which was perfect for the grilled fish! The fried plantains were good as well as the potatoes. We also ordered fried Calamari (I'm not fond of Calamari, but my sweetheart loves it). Although not fresh, hand- battered like what we had in Greece, he rated it "pretty good". We also had the fried cheese balls and OMG, they were GOOD. The passionfruit mojito shouldn't be missed. I've never been a huge mojito fan, but I had two of these! The perfect balance of tart and sweet! I'll dream of these once I'm ba k home! The view was spectacular even if it began to sprinkle. The wait staff were knowledgeable, attentive, and quick to offer us a table inside which we didn't take. We were about finished and wanted to soak up every last drop of the view so, a few sprinkles didn't faze us. We will return when we come back to Puerto Rico. In fact, we hope to come back next summer to stay and fish. It is much less crowded than San Juan and so laid back it will be a fun...

Seafood at its best! This was on of does places I had in my watch list for some time now. I came here with my wife in our aniversary. This place did not disapoint.

The firs thing I noticed is how good the service was. Everyone I saw working there had good customer service skills and our waitress was super nice and her suggestions where right on point.

Our appetizer was the stuffed pepers, they were stuffed with tiny fish I cant remember what they are called but is was very good. For our main we ordered Casuela with octopus and chorizo and grilled octopus. The casuela was one of the best original dishes I've ever tasted at a restaurant, it was warm, well seasoned and loaded with baby octapus, chorizo, colard and chick peas. I had never heard about grilled octopus before and I was skeptical when my wife ordered it thinking it would be dry and crewy, but to my surprise it is the best octopus dish I've ever tasted, tender, juicy and full of flavor I had never before tasted octapus like this, if you come here and like octopus you have to order this dish and also the yuca mofongo we had as a side dish was good.

This place is not cheap, but the quality and the quantity of the food make the price more than reasonable. If your going at night time get a teble inside couse mosquitoes in that area are brutal at night 😄. Greate experiences I will...
