I know most of you have probably already seen my video review on Paul's Hotdogs & Grill Inc. now known as Luke's Hotdogs and Burgers. That video as of right now has over 6,000 views and I can't think you guys enough for the massive support. But I have people that still prefer to read and not just watch videos so this is for them and it will be posted on here, my Yelp account, and my Google Reviews account.
I had been going to Paul's for year until it eventually closed down. Like many others this was very upsetting but I could understand. Before he passed away I had the chance to speak with Paul and he was always very nice to me and I couldn't believe this place had been in business for over 30 years! I love a good hotdog and this place was in my top 5 favorites since the first day I tried it.
So here's what I tried!
Bacon Cheeseburger: was simply incredible. Very fresh and pressed patty perfectly cooked with the freshest veggies on it. Just an easy 9.5/10!
Chili Dog: I mean come on. Just a simple classic. It has that classic chili dog sauce, onions, and mustard. That being said 10/10 for me.
Paul's Special Dog: I believe had kraut, onions, Paul's sauce. Very good. The sauce wasn't overpowering like most hotdog sauces are. 9/10
Polish Dog: had the same as the Paul's Dog but that Polish sausage just gives it something different with that snap and flavor. 9.5/10 (As I said in the video what I would recommend that should be an option is to be able to order it with peppers and onions with mustard and the option to have the Paul's sauce on it or not. Would be a banger.)
Bologna Sandwich: classic southern sandwich right here lettuce and tomato with a good spread of mayo on a toasted bun and yes I told them to burn the bologna because that's the only way you you should eat bologna. 8/10
Lastly the Cinnamon Bun: this is homemade from someone in the family and it man when I tell you I wanted to jump up and shout! I'm not a big sweets person and everything was just perfectly balanced. Not overly sweet and it reminds me of a Cinnamon roll mixed with one of those Little Debbie pecan pinwheel things. 10/10
This is the place to be and you guys need to go support this family and make sure they never have to close again. Customer service is also a easy 10/10

Read moreI was with a group of 8 people and while that is a large group, we still waited for over 30 minutes to get only half of our orders, all the while other customers that came in after us were receiving their food before us. Another 30 minutes goes by and the other half of our group had still not received their food. After asking several times when we would get the rest of our food we were given paper plates wrapped in plastic wrap and the food was COLD. Also I asked for a cup of ranch for my food and was told "I have to get the rest of these plates ready they have been waiting a very long time" after we had been waiting for nearly an hour by this point. Horrible, slow customer service and cold food make for a terrible dining...
Read moreIf you are looking for slow service, overpriced food, and rude employees, look no further. I have visited this restaurant numerous times over the years. The service is extremely slow, so be prepared to wait, even though it is a hotdog place. The man who typically works the cash register is always so hard to deal with and unpleasant. I am always blown away by how expensive it turns out to be. There’s plenty of places that I can get a really great lunch for 15 bucks. Paul’s hotdogs is not one of them.
The food is always decent, I’ve never had a meal there that was particularly bad. But these other factors just take away so much from the experience. It’s definitely not...
