Fat Willy's Kolb Rd & I-10 — Restaurant in Arizona

The upper & local mgmt is wonderful & really trys to make things right. They have difficult wait staff. The food is decent, taco salad with tortilla bowl, calif chicken sandwich, pizza is great, philly cheese steak & bkfst.

Most recent I had a bkfst & ordered a bkfst to go. The menu showed 11.00 & bill showed 12.00.

A female wait staff was only staff there she overcharged me. When I asked to see bkfst menu she went off on me saying they have raised prices but wont get new menus. BE AWARE...THEY ARE LEGALLY OBLIGATED TO HONOR MENU PRICE.

She refused to adjust my bill so I returned a to go order. She said mngr wasnt there when he was. She made a huge scene walking across the restaurant loudly blurting out my name & banning me when she has no authority.

This female threatened me twice, later I came back she made another scene pointing at me demanding I not stare at her when I came to get mngr to adjust my bill & remove her tip.

This female is a predator, padding the bill to boost tips hoping you dont notice. She is taking advantage of distracted diners, drunks & elderly memory impaired who wont question discrepancies.

Look at your bill dont let wait staff rip you off, your order will be gross, over cooked or undercooked or you order sausage patties & will be brought links. Insist they get your order right. Dont let no one talk you out of ordering what you want, tell them NO. I wont go there every again & hated the over emotional...

First and foremost....ask for a breakdown of the bill BEFORE PAYING. Food was good, but when it was time to pay the waitress walks up and tells us the total. No breakdown, nothing to know if the amount she states is accurate. Smelled very fishy to us. So we added up our costs, and knew the bill was higher than it should be (imagine that, comes out considerably in their favor!). Sure enough they had overcharged by several dollars, as we pushed home the fact that a breakdown was required. We tipped on the INcorrect higher amount, and noticed the waitperson didn't give us any way to adjust based on the corrected amount.

Have your guard WAY UP at this place. Kiss having a relaxing time goodbye. People go to a restaurant to relax. Management ARE YOU LISTENING????

Decided to give this place a second try, and was stupid enough to bring out of town company back in late Nov. Waited 1.5 hours for our food to arrive. Noticed those with Voyager badges (we accidentally forgot ours) were all served in a timely manner. After waiting the 1.5 hours I finally said something, and got a bs excuse. They had obviously forgotten our order.

This was our first trip here since it changed hands. The staff was very friendly and our waiter (Chris?) was a joy to have. My beautiful bride had their signature stir-fry featuring a plethora of veggies and, in her case, some very tasty and tender chunks of steak. I had the fish basket with well-done fries. The fries were a bit salty, but as it's June in Tucson, I probably needed the extra salt. The fish was very crispy and hot, the tarter sauce very robust. It was a good mix for a hot day. We got here rather early (3:15) for the dinner rush, but Fat Willy's is located in Voyager mobile home community, so the local clientele is prone to early dining. It was beginning to get busy when we left just after 4. Also, note that this is a sports bar and grill, so there may be some raucous parties in the other room. Don't expect a quiet dining experience. The prices were very affordable, and this was one of our less-costly meals in some time. We are definitely making the trip back, as I would like to try...
