My drive-thru experience is pretty much the same whenever I use it. First, the wait is insanely long. I don't like being asked to drive around to the front after ordering one little meal when I've actually waited behind another car for 15 minutes. And this seems to happen EVERY time I go no matter what time of day it is. This McDonalds employs a lot of teenagers who are not taught the value of good customer service. There are no smiles, "Have a nice day" or even simple eye to eye attention. They are also some of the most unprofessional bunch of employees I have ever seen in my life. Some examples are the employees loudly talking about who's boyfriend cheated on who and who didn't take a bath before coming to work. You can hear it right through the speaker while you're trying to give your order!!! Yeah, I know right. Also, you have to ASK for condiments. Do not assume that they will give them to you. This McDonalds has changed that policy. And lately, I have had to ask for straws as well!!! I always have to ask for FRESH fries because the ones they give you have been under the hot light too long or were in the grease too long. One way to make certain you get fresh fries is to ask for fries with no salt when you're ordering. Just trust me on this. It's not a good thing to ride off, reach into the bag for a fry and discover that it's cold, limp and over-cooked. How is that even possible with timers?! If it's summer time and you want ice cream, good luck. For three straight months at different times of day (I live in town), I was ALWAYS told the ice machine was broken down. It feels terrible when you have four children in the truck who want ice cream and you have to disappoint them. I went inside the restaurant for the first time in I don't know how long just recently and was so disgusted that I actually walked right back out. I don't know how ANYONE can eat their food in peace with ketchup stained and mud splattered floors all around. The drink dispenser looked as though it hadn't been cleaned and the condiment area was exceptionally gross because of all the flies. I have no idea why this restaurant is still in business, but if you MUST have something from McDonalds, spend the extra gas and go to the one in Caddo Valley. It's a 10 minute drive down the Interstate. That's where I'll be going...
Read moreWhere’s the beef? I recently stopped in at this McDonald’s with My Wife. We were driving back from a cruise we took going out of Galveston. We both ordered a quarter pounder with cheese meal. Mine had bacon on it. After standing in the dining room for about 15 minutes, we finally got our food. When I opened up my quarter pounder with cheese box, all I found was a bun, bacon and cheese. No meat at all. I couldn’t believe my eyes. I walked back up with my sad quarter pounder with cheese box and there was a manager standing there with her hand out ready for me to hand her the box. She said nothing. I told her that there’s no meat on my sandwich. She walked back to the kitchen and hollered. I need another quarter pounder with cheese with bacon. She never said I’m sorry, she never said I can’t believe that happened, she never said anything Customer service related. I sat back down at my table to at least eat my fries before they got too cold. After another 15 minutes, My Wife was completely done with her quarter pounder with cheese and her fries, and I was still sitting there without a burger. I went back up to the counter and a different manager caught my eye, and I told her I just want my money back. I’m leaving. Evidently, I was never getting my replacement sandwich because she didn’t seem to know who I was. So, I told her I’m the one that was served a quarter pounder with cheese with no meat on it and I still have not gotten one that right and I’ve been here 30 minutes already. So she walks to the register and says I will give you your money back for the burger only. I of course told her if you think that’s the right move to make then that’s what you should do. She said it is. I said well I’ve never had such a ridiculous experience at a McDonald’s. (and the bar is set so low at McDonald’s that I didn’t think someone could actually do worse.) She never once said I’m sorry, she never once said I’m gonna talk to the kitchen staff and see what’s going on, she never once said anything customer service Related. I would not recommend this...
Read moreThe staff is terrible. EVERY SINGLE VISIT is ALWAYS awful. I absolutely HATE having to go to this one on Pine St because it is convenient. A lot of the time I will opt out and just take the interstate to the one in Caddo Valley. But in the times that is proved to be unrealistic, the service always sucks. They are rude, impolite, and always talking with each other instead of answering the speaker. This is not just a couple of times. This is nearly every visit for me. And we eat out every day. Today I had no choice but to order at this one. I mobile ordered a 6 piece nugget for my son. Got there and waiting a terrible long time, with no line mind you, at the speaker, she couldn’t hear me at first because she was laughing and still talking to another employee, and then she finally had me pull up because she found my order. AND THERE WAS NO ONE AT THE FIRST WINDOW. I still had to freaking wait for her to come to the window!!! I had a feeling I needed to check my order (like freaking always at this McDonald’s) but I was in a hurry so I just thought, “how could they possibly mess up a 6 piece nugget and one sauce??” I checked for sauce. Got home and opened it up for my 6 year old and there was only 4! The BOX says 6 on it! HOW CAN YOU GET THAT WRONG. It’s different if it was a simple once or twice mistake. But this place is HORRIBLE! And nothing ever gets done about it! They did write my name down in their book for a free 6 piece. I wish the good employees I have come across didn’t have to take the bad rep...
