What a disappointment…. My mom, who has a home on Holiday Island, suggested that we go there for lunch this past week. There were two young ladies who were working the front register and serving. We were one of only three tables in the restaurant that were occupied at the time. There was filth all over the place, as the tables that were empty had not been bussed/cleaned, whatsoever. The entire time that we were there, the two young women, whilst not having to wait on anyone, sat at the bar area on their phones with earbuds in, only having to get up when necessary. We couldn’t believe it. I’ve never been in a restaurant where the employees just sit around when there is cleanup to do. The food was subpar, at best. The portions were very small and there was just no flavor. We both agreed that we’ll not...

I thought they would be sautéed, but they were poached in a very light broth with tomatoes and onions with chopped garlic from a jar and a bit of cilantro. Very tasteless. My friend got the Chimichanga and it wasn’t very good either. I see pictures of food with beer on here, but they don’t serve alcohol and you can’t bring any in either. The waitress didn't hover but they could have stayed busy cleaning tables or something other than letting your customers see you flirting and carrying on with the male wait staff. They only served beer and well that was extremely disappointing. They didn't do anything extra than take our order and give us our food my daughter was a little disappointed they didn't even say happy birthday to her. I think we will 100% stick with Casa Maya in Shell Knob and pay the extra money for great food and drinks. Next year her birthday dinner will be...
