The Switchback Bar is just a little ways south of the state line on Highway 23. It is a great ride to get there no matter which direction you come from. Andy and Keri Boyum have a great bunch of staff working there and their customers are nice and friendly. It is an open air bar so dress for the weather. It is a beer bar, but they have sodas and I BYOB in a discreet pocket flask for times I want something other than beer. I have never had any trouble there or smelled any pot smoke or anything. The food is good - I especially like the fried cheese curds! I always find good company to talk to and share life with. I especially enjoy that because I am slightly lonely most of the time. There are so many nice couples and sometimes with their grown up family members. Give this place a go! You will really enjoy it! On rally weekends Andy puts on a poker run and they are lots of fun. Four wheeled vehicles can participate too so next time there is a rally come over and enjoy the fun. Cars park up the hill behind the business and motorcycles park in front on the asphalt, so you non-biker guys can have an awesome time too. The live music is so good I usually find myself throwing tips in their bucket and bouncing around plenty. One of the big draws to Eureka Springs is The Passion of Christ play that everyone is so impressed by. There are tons of things to do in Eureka Springs so just come on out and talk to the various patrons of the Switchback Bar to work up a good weekend itinerary! Drive safe and see...

The food was originally gonna take about a half hour which is fine. But I am a diabetic and there is not another place for at least a maybe 30 minute ride away. At the 30 minute mark I asked about the food and he checked and said another 30-40 minutes. As we walk by the little building that is the kitchen the cook has two burgers on the grill and no fries down in the fryer. Like she was working on one order at a time instead of having multiple burgers on the grill and at least one basket...
Read moreIf you close your eyes and think of biker heaven this is it! The owners Andy and Keri are true bikers that put their hearts into this place. They make you feel like you’re at home and you are. With comfortable places to sleep and a bike shop if you need repairs they have it all! They where so great to us. They even made us home cooked meals . I can’t thank them enough. The knowledge they have of local riding spots and places to jump into a river are unbelievable. Great bars for a cold one and so much more. Do yourself a favor and go visit. From the beard! Thank you guys... hope to...
