Arley Coffee Shop — Restaurant in Arley

I love the South! The people we have met are friendly, kind, and respectful. I know what does that have to do with the food or the coffee and the "coffee shop," nothing. I just wanted to start with that super friendly staff and fun atmosphere. It's a tiny little restaurant in a tiny little town, Arley, Alabama. I ordered the "large" burger with fries and onion rings. It was a sizeable handmade patty with all the fixings. I can always tell when someone makes me a burger and loves mustard: crinkle-cut fires and piping hot onion rings, good stuff. My wife had chicken bites and fries that came with coleslaw. As far as we could tell, the chicken was from a frozen bag but still tasty. Again, friendly folks, and the service was excellent. We returned today for our second visit and tried lunch because after an amazing breakfast visit, yesterday we were sure it would be awesome as well. We were not disappointed! Lunch was great! Arley burger with a half order of Spicy Arley fries were wonderful. If you're wondering what an Arley burger is, it's a burger with two kinds of cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion on Rye toast. Arley fries are crinkle cut fries with bacon, cheese and ranch. Spicy Arley fries are straight cut seasoned fries with the same toppings, not hot so no worries there. Small diner but very well worth a visit. I eat here at least once a week and I highly recommend this place. The prices are unbelievable and you get a huge serving of your order. It's all home cooked and is actually better than a lot of the huge popular restaurants. That's one reason I keep going back. Having lived in the city so long ( St. Louis, Missouri and Houston, Texas) this was a gem find for me and my husband. The employees are so friendly and down to earth. Your not treated as just a tip giver. They also take call in orders which you come and pick up.. no delivery. This community is so small, they don't probably know what Uber eats, etc... Are.
