One Star - Disappointing Experience at Plaza Bonita in Arley Our recent order from Plaza Bonita in Arley was unfortunately riddled with issues. Despite explicitly requesting no guacamole on my meal twice when placing the order, my dish arrived covered in it. This oversight was particularly disappointing as I made my preference very clear. The experience leading up to this wasn't much better. We had to ask for our complimentary chips upon arrival, and were initially told the server would need to check if she could give them to us early. After leaving a tip, we were then informed there would be an additional 15-minute wait. Upon returning to pick up our order, we had to request silverware. To add insult to injury, after discovering the incorrect order at home, I called the restaurant to inform them of the mistake. While the initial server put me on hold multiple times to check the receipt (understandably not reflecting my verbal request), the subsequent conversation with who I believe was the manager or owner was truly disheartening. After agreeing to remake my plate, upon picking it up, I was falsely accused of yelling at the waitress. This accusation was completely untrue and added unnecessary frustration to an already negative experience. While I appreciate the offer to remake the meal, the series of errors and the unwarranted accusation have left a very poor impression. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I cannot recommend Plaza Bonita in Arley. Paying for an incorrect order and then being wrongly accused of mistreating staff is simply unacceptable. Impersonal Resolution: Highlights the act of handing the remade food back through the window, suggesting a lack of a more direct and apologetic approach to rectifying...

Small Tex/ Mex restraunt. Very clean Friendly staff Dry county here so no Margarita's Prices are really to high for what they have on the menu though. Not much of a selection and the salsa has no kick to it at all. I didn't see not one Latino working there. I probably won't go back cause it just wasn't worth it.

Update:2/7/2021 Prices are still too high for their dishes. Small portions Don't expect free condiments.. you pay for everything. I had $9 just in condiments. I could have ordered another meal with that. Cheese dip is 3.99 for a small which is the white stuff in the bowel. My husband is mexican/american and he likes his salsa hot but they don't offer hot salsa. You have to pay for it. That's the small dish next to his hand. You also pay for any jalapenos in your dish or on the side and any sour cream. If you want a combination of meat, you pay extra. I had shrimp put it in my dish and there were only 4. I'll have to get my receipt to remember the price. This is a dry county so no alcohol. It's ok to go to for a change of pace in this small community but don't expect anything special. I rarely go here. The only Latino I've seen is the owner/ manager. This place is tex- mex and they know how to play the people around here, making it seem authentic and expensive. I will post a copy of my receipt to prove...

This is the first review I have ever made. Our waitress was great. She was all over the place while the other waitress was standing around and talking to the cook. The food took over an hour to come out and was wrong. We ordered tacos and a Supreme Nacho with no tomatoes. It took so long we asked before it came out if we could get in to go boxes so we would not be late for games at school. The cook said no. I asked if it had been plated yet and no it hadn't he had just started cooking. I could understand if it was busy but most tables were leaving when we arrived. Only us and two other tables while we were there. Our waitress was crying due to him being so ugly. He might want to realize you can hear him when he was that loud. The other waitress was busy listening to our waitress and reporting back to cook and making things worse. We got to see that while paying our bill. Our waitress didnt even say anything bad about the cook. All I can say is I would have more help wanted signs up for a cook and waitress. We are not from this area and was this was our first and last time...

I don't think we'll be back. Got a takeout order but couldn't place it over the phone because I'm pretty sure they took the phone off the hook (constant busy signal but never saw anyone on the phone). Got there and placed our order, was told it would be 25min. Finally got our food 45min later. Somewhat understandable on a Friday night at 7pm, except that it was clear at the 30min mark they had forgotten to put our order in so they scrambled to make it happen. Got home with our food and found that the "Mexican Guacamole" should just be called "Pico de Gallo with a few chunks of Avocado" (pic attached) - I think I would've preferred the "Out of the Can" variety. My steak taco was puny at best, I should've opted for the 3x option. The chicken burrito wasn't bad (the bay leaf in the sauce was a first for me in a Mexican meal), but was far from enough to salvage the experience. We've been driving by this place for almost 2yrs now and we'll continue to do so.
