Picturesque ice cream barn off the side of the road. We had a hot dog, popcorn chicken, a butterscotch sundae, and a cherry dipped ice cream.
Everything was quite good, the service staff was kind, and the picnic tables added a fun ambience.
The popcorn chicken was the standout, and the hot dog was the low point. The hot dog wasn't bad, just adequate. In a similar vein there's little to recommend the ice cream here explicitly, but that's because in any place like this you're grading along the curve of cute New England ice cream joints. It's as hard to have a bad bowl of ice cream in Vermont as it is to have a bad slice of pizza in New York City. So this place has soft serve that is merely excellent, but the trappings elevate it to a strong recommendation.

I'm sorry there are no food pictures to go with this review, but everyone basically inhaled their food. With that being said, we ordered the cheesesteak, the cheeseburger, mac&cheese bites, and mozzarella sticks. All of this food was amazing and came out nice and hot. I do not have one bad thing to say about our stop here, and it has been added to the must stop list when we are in Vermont. Do yourself a favor and pay the Arlington Dairy Bar a visit and enjoy great food and service with a side of fresh air. You won't be...

This hidden gem's lobster roll is austere but perfect. The bun is buttered and lightly grilled; the lobster perfectly cooked; the extremely light coating of dressing is barely noticeable and merely enhances the lobster. It's not gourmet but simply perfect. You are not in Maine but you knew that when you stopped here. You won't care. You will be into your own highly enjoyable experience. NB: the place...
