De Papí Bar Rest — Restaurant in Arroyo

I'm giving it 1 star because there's no option for 0. Terrible service from the entrance on. Temp and hand sanitizing is done at entrance. Table sitting at what is available, inside or outside. I got a table inside and sat for approximately 20 min. No one came to wait on us. We summoned a waitress and she totally ignored us. Another couple came in and after waiting a bit, got up for menu so we did the same. The music was too loud so we went outside. Table was not clean but very nice teen came and cleaned it. We had to summons someone to make order. The same one that had ignored us. The service was not so good but the food was ok. It is a great spot, right in front of the pier but service has to improve greatly. Train staff or hire people that will make your great spot shine. I'll think about going back not even thinking of...

pro : we went Friday around 3pm and ordered one of the house specials. Food wasnt bad and the service was friendly and the place looked clean

cons: there was an infestation of flies... one landing in my plate (yeah). i immediately stood up and asked for the bill to pay it but when asked for a tip $$$ i denied and told them that the place looks nice but they need to do something with the flies situation. paid $80 for 2 dinners nothing else and left . again they were nice but is just unhealthy...

Food is great, but I went today as every Thursday and I requested 5 mofongos. They served 4, and I waited 1.5 hours for them and then I had to wait another 1.5 hours for the mofongo the waitress missed. Puñeta, if I was there and you recognized that was your mistake, my order should be ahead of the others. I love the food and I am a current client but I will never visit you...
