The food is good but the service is absolute garbage. The teenage girl they have up front is horrible. She ignored me when I walked in and didn't say a thing to me. I waited a few minutes up at the counter right next to her and she didn't say a word. I had to tell her I wanted to place a to go order. When I proceeded to tell her I wanted the # 10 skillet, she looked at me very confused and said I don't know what that is, I haven't worked here that long. I then had to grab a menu just to show her what it was. Then whenever I came back 15 minutes later to get my food she didn't even check me out. Max Family Diner has been opened a year. In that time, most of the waiters have learned nothing! Today for breakfast, I waited over 15 minutes before the waiter even noticed me; I sat with the same 5 people I generally sit with. I got my coffee but it was 15 minutes before the group that joined me got theirs. I had to actually get up and get our silverware and had to ask someone to wait on us.
