Ok —- two words — Bubba Burger! This is a must stop if you are driving through Allyn, WA. I think (Sal’s thoughts) this is one of the great tasting burgers served in Washington (West of the Cascades). Just look at the burger! Doesn’t it make your mouth water? I wrote in one of my captions— the wife and I are splitting one because they are so filling. In my younger years, I used to devour one monster burger, a large heaping of fries, and a large milkshake, but now I eat just half😢! Please Keep in mind — CASH ONLY! They do have an ATM, but they charge you $2.00. Also, very limited parking, so do not think you can drive your 44 foot RV and park — NOT HAPPENING!So go and Eat there and let me know what you think— ENJOY

We drove far out of our way on a day trip to Seattle to experience what was billed as the best burger in Washington. Can I say it was the best burger in Washington that I've ever had? No. Was it definitely better than most burgers that I've had in Washington? Yes. Did it absolutely destroy any possible drive-through burger that you could get anywhere? 100% I'd say that it is solidly on par with any drive-in style burger joint you can find up and down Oregon and Washington. Mike's Drive-In in Portland. Dandy's Drive-In in Bend. Etc. It is worth trying, and the drive is quiet, and scenic, so it's not a stretch to make the trip as your return leg from a day trip to Seattle from Portland. Definitely would recommend.

The large onion rings and fries are huge and enough for several people. The burgers are fresh, quality beef and the buns are soft. Their special sauce is also delicious on the cheeseburger and as a fry dip. We had amazing root beer floats with vanilla soft serve ice cream topped with real whipcream. It's not cheap but neither is the quality. It was well worth it. My elderly Mom and I absolutely loved it. It reminded her of the good old days when you could get a decent high quality burger and fries at a dine-in. They had outdoor seating only with many nice picnic tables. Bring a light jacket because you're right by the water. It's across the street from the Allen Park on the ocean. I absolutely recommend it.

I travel western Washington a lot for work so I pass by this place a lot and grew up in the area. Always wanted to try but rarely carry cash since they're cash only. I know they have an on site atm, but would be nice to just be able to walk up and pay.

Anyway, I finally stopped and tried it and let me tell you... pretty disappointed. Usually roadside places like this are really good hole in the wall type places. Maybe I came on an off day? I don't know, but there was only one person ahead of us and they didn't get much, so it isn't like they were busy, but the food was extremely subpar. The fish was over cooked and no taste, the fries were just ok, but again barely any flavor and not great.

The chicken strips were kinda dry and just not made well.

Kids are kids and usually eat everything but even they weren't fans of the burger meat, but said the bun was good, I've never seen them not enjoy a burger.

The price vs quality is way off, the quality just isn't there at all to justify the cost of what we had to pay, not to mention 12 dollars! For a 16oz milkshake.... just crazy. Chicken strips with fries is 13, fish and chips 14, etc, and this is without getting any drinks. This is vegas food pricing without the quality, but in the middle of nowhere.

To top it off, the person at the window is not good with customers at all. The demeanor, the attitude, no smile, just overall pretty bad experience. We may try again but it's going to be if we're very hungry and everything else is closed. But again maybe we came on an off day, but this was just an overall bad experience and I stop at a lot of these places since I...

Rated the food a FIVE even though we didn't get to eat, but is why we drove over 4 hours to eat at this place.

We were traveling (we are in the middle of moving to the Ktsap Peninsula) and we're looking forward to having a Big Bubba's burger and fries. We knew it was a Sunday and unsure of their operating hours, so we Googled the location and found out they close at 8:00pm. GPS had us arriving at 7:30, so we pushed on and our appetites were all AGOG!

We got to the restaurant in time (7:45) and my wife went up to the window to order our food, but was told by the employee "We Are Closed!" My wife said that the website says you're open until 8:00, which the employee said we Closed at 7:45, which my wife looked at her phone and said, "But it's only 7:43." And the employee just restated "We Are Closed!"

They were still filling orders and had several guests eating at the outdoor tables.

Truth in menu is a law, but apparently truth in advertising has now joined the ranks of the evening News and is left to those who want to conveniently apply the truth to what fits their agenda.

I have been a Big Bubba's walking and talking advertisement for the past 4 years (when we first discovered you on our trips from the kitsap peninsula to the long Beach peninsula) and have been promoting your burger and fries to everyone who will listen. But today these lips are sealed. I won't speak poorly of your operation, except for this review, but I will also be silent in my recommendation and my patronage of your...

So normally I don’t post reviews but my experience was absolutely terrible! I went in the afternoon and couldn’t believe the way the lady taking our order was treating her staff. She looked like the manager it was an older darker haired lady she was bashing her employees the whole time telling them that they looked disgusting and that they weren’t doing anything right. One girl looked so uncomfortable she wanted to cry. I watched for 30 minutes and all of these workers were going as fast as they could and doing an amazing job while I watched this lady as it was busy sit on her phone and not lift a finger to help and complain that things weren’t getting done. My friend also watched her take a five dollar bill from the tip jar and put it in her shirt. I’m so flabbergasted by this action coming from somebody that manages a retail store. After 25 minutes are food was done I walked back up and put a twenty in the tip jar grabbed our food got in the car and was checking out our burgers that were pretty darn good honestly but the fries were a little too salty. I just don’t understand this I hope those workers get better jobs and don’t have to deal with someone that drips more than the grease on burgers and whose getting arthritis real soon. Karma is real and...
