Mr. T's Smoke Shack — Restaurant in Arundel

I love some good BBQ and sadly southern maine doesn't have much BBQ like I've had down south 😢. Tonight on the way to Wells we stopped by Mr Ts Smoke Shack in Arundel and my opinion changed completely.

Just the smells had our mouths watering and they had several options on the menu that sounded delicious but ultimately I went with the brisket sandwich, side of beans (definitely not from a can) and it came with a coleslaw, corn bread and a water.

Now everything was amazing hands down. The coleslaw was fresh, crisp and almost as good as KFCs. The corn bread was very moist while being light and fluffy. Typically corn bread is dense but this was some great corn bread and it was delicious paired with the beans. Now to the brisket sandwich. OMG it's on a brioche bun and when you bite into it you wouldn't know you were biting into meat it's that tender. You have a nice Smoke ring and an amazing flavor. This is the kind of BBQ I'd expect from the south. Now my buddy AJ got the pulled pork quesadilla and a side of Mac n Cheese and it had tortilla chips with sour cream and salsa. His 1st bite was the Mac n Cheese and you could hear him hum while he chewed, he was definitely enjoying it. The pulled pork had a nice seasoning which was from a dry rub while cooking. He was just as happy with the tortilla chips (probably homemade)

When we finished I went to toss my box away and snap a picture of the menu for my next visit and the guy in the window asked if I'd tried the pickles? Uh pickles 😋 These homemade pickles were so fresh and delicious I could have easily eaten a jar of them alone but I had a few and saved some for AJ. As soon as I handed them to him he dove right in and finished them off.

Now while we were there Bentleys had something going on and everyone who was at Mr Ts were hella happy with everything they'd ordered and we were definitely happy with our meals.

I think from the time we ordered until it was handed to us was under 5 or 6 minutes and that was with 3 orders ahead of us, so it was really fast. There's tables to sit at but we just ate in the jeep.

If you're in Southern Maine as a local or a tourist and your looking for some amazing BBQ then Mr Ts Smoke Shack in Arundel Maine is the place to go. The prices are more than reasonable, the food is amazing and your going to leave very full (wear your comfy clothes 😀)...

My husband and I were looking for a catering service for our wedding reception. I called Mr. Ts smoke shack because I saw he had high ratings on my Google search. I am so happy I did! Not only did he accommodate me regardless of the fact that I called him only a few weeks before the big event, but he also Provided top notch customer service and all the guests loved his food! If we ever need to cater another event, we will give Mr. Ts Smoke Shack a call! If Google let me give more than 5 stars I would!...

Mr. T's Smoke Shack catered my wedding and they did a fantastic job! The spread was great, and the service was phenomenal! We had ribs, pulled pork, pulled chicken, brisket, beans, mac and cheese, cornbread and more! It tasted great and was cooked to perfection! All at an honest price!
