Four Star pulled pork, brisket and ribs. I was a little hesitant when the friendly owner told me he used oak to smoke his meat. I am a hickory smoked bbq fan myself. But to my surprise the pulled pork, brisket and ribs were tender, juicy and cooked to perfection. The flavor was excellent. Not hickory, but a whole new flavor for me of bbq that our whole family was very pleased with! Why only three stars for the entire meal? The beans are great! The cole slaw is mediocre and the potato salad was a heavy mustard flavor. Will I go back? Absolutely! Just the meat alone and service were fantastic! Overall it is a 3.5...

I spent a week driving around Arkansas visiting war memorials. My #1 rule is to only eat at locally owned restaurants.

Road Hawgz was a good find. One of the better pulled pork sandwiches I've had on this tour and they know how to make sweet tea.

The people are friendly and the place is clean and comfy. It's worth a stop and the colorful building makes it easy to find.

This was my first time here and the staff was very helpful and friendly. It smelled amazing from the moment I opened the door and walked inside.
