Since I moved to ashburn (two years ago) I’ve came here more than a hundred times. I absolutely LOVE hunan village. Their food and quality is outstanding. It’s cheap and filling and doesn’t contain any msg! What else does anyone else want besides that!

I’ve never dealt with a problem with HV until today. I ordered almost $80 worth of food today and set it up to deliver to my home eta by the latest 7:30-8:02pm. The order didn’t get to my doorstep till 8:38pm. 30 min later than expected. (I called the store and they told me it will be late my 15min; mind you no sorry or anything) Upon opening my door, the delivery man (older Asian) starts yelling at me to order pick up next time if I want a quicker eta time. This is no way to speak to a Customer considering he has delivered to my home multiple times and I’m a loyal customer. He yelled at me regarding tip and told me that the tip wasn’t even worth the drive. I admit, I wasn’t generous at tipping. But that still doesn’t give him a pass to be rude and disrespectful.
The food was good, however; warm not hot as usual. I had to reheat some things before dinner. I’m quite Disappointed, never ordering delivery...

But, I ordered tonight via GrubHub and the restaurant sent their own driver. When I order food for delivery, I do not ever “pre-tip” the driver. Tips are based on service, and I tip after service. You don’t “pre-tip” your waiter, barber, taxi driver, etc. This being the case, my food came fast and despite selecting contactless delivery (I am feeling unwell and don’t want to get anyone sick), the driver came to the door and waited for me, holding a printout of my order and asking if I planned to tip in cash. I was taken aback and told him I’d tip on the app (that was still my plan, and after all this, I still did). Opening the app, I showed him where I could and he seemingly wanted to wait for me to do so before begrudgingly handing me my food. After all this, I had specified that I wanted my food spicy, which it is not. To make matters worse, I had specifically requested silverware and napkins, which were forgotten.

   Read moreHad a terrible experience last night 05/10/2020, just pure bad customer service. I placed my order online at 5.45pm to be picked at 7.45pm. I show up at 7.45pm only to be told that they are running behind and it would take another hour to prepare. Along with me there were several other clients being told the same thing. Any how I told the front desk person that I will be back in an hour and verbally confirmed my phone and order and left. I return back at 8.45 only to find the lights of the restaurant dim and the last of the cooks walking out . I walk up to the same front desk guy and this time he tells me his cooks walked out on him during service as they could not fulfill orders so they decided to shut down for the night. So he was sorry ...... I asked him why he did not call and inform me at least save me the trip back and he said he did not know my order.
