Paw-Paw's Place — Restaurant in Asheboro

Paw Paw's Place was recommended to me by Google and I am so glad it was and that I checked it out. I absolutely love the name of the place, it's very inviting. Our waitress, Ally was the best waitress I have ever had! She never let our drinks run out but it was so much more than that. She was extremely kind and helpful. We were treated like family. It was a wonderful experience. And the food OH WOW! If you love hot dogs this place is definitely for you! On there outside window it says " best hamburgers in town" but it should have said best hamburgers and hotdogs in town. There hotdogs we're amazing! I got mine without chilli, slaw and mustard and WOW, AMAZING! I will be going back and trying the hamburgers though too. You can't make a claim such as having the best hamburgers in town and me not wanna try it, I just wasn't in a hamburger sorta mood the day I came but I take my hamburgers just like I take my hot dogs so I bet they will be amazing too because the chilli and slaw are amazing. The only thing that I didn't really care for and I thought was weird was that french fries doesn't automatically come with the hamburgers and hotdogs. I mean I believe it might have came with the hamburger and the hot dog special but not the rest of them. However this place is worth the little $1.69 or whatever it is for the fries. We placed an order online thinking this was going to be a great experience and unfortunately it was not. I spoke with Emily because when my husband brought the food home, we were missing an order of fries so he had to go back up there and get the fries and come back by this time our food was already fairly warm so that tells me the food wasn't hot to start with. Very disappointed in the way the food looked the presentation was not nice. It looks like the food had been thrown into the containers. Called back because the biscuits were marked on the bottom and asked if there was anything they could do upon making this right and She said online orders are tricky because I don't know what the food look like or the distance ( we live less than two minutes ) but honestly that shouldn't matter because customer service should be customer service! I walked in there for the first time and I could just tell that this was going to be a good place. I sat down and we immediately got menus, and shortly after we got our drinks. I had a sweet tea and it was one of the best I’ve ever tasted. I then proceeded to order the paw paws special with a side of seasoned fries for $11.00. The highest price I saw was $13.00 for the premium paw paws special. The prices are good for the portions of food you receive. I received my food in the span of 8 minutes. Took the first bite and the beef patty was juicy and just everything about it was amazing. The waitress was nice and attentive. I believe if you’re reading this you should stop by and give it a shot.
