Would have gave a zero if I could have. We arrived approx 5:30 on Sunday 10/12/25. 1 table was all that was in the place after we were served drinks and beans and chips 5/7 mins took order perfectly acceptable our server took 20/25 plus mins to ask if we would like our water refilled and more beans and chips. Still no food. The sauce station looked like hurricane Helene had just hit. This was not because they had been busy in last hr or so plus because we had just passed 2 times prior 1 hr and again 40 mins prior. Then we were served on dirty bowls by this time approx 35/40 plus mins had passed and we had enough. We got up and left offered to pay for 2 lemonades that grandkids had and chips and dip out of kindness. Never did get drink refills or food. And I was looking so forward to trying their brick and mortar location. What a disappointment been many times to their food truck and will be back to. And in my opinion tk best in town Mama Rosita needs to know what is going on and I wish her the very best. Because as I had stated again food tk best in town. But brick location will never survive with service like that. Don't know about food as we never got to try. Plus it may even take the food tk down with it if don't improve soon. What a shame best of...
Read moreI was in the mood for Mex and we decided to try Rosita's.
Stopped in on a Sunday before noon. Many of the tables were already occupied - that's a good sign. We were greeted and seated quickly. Then the chips and bean dip (very tasty) arrived.
I had birria and a horchata. They were served with the birria sauce and some refried beans and rice. The beans were topped with some cheese, the rice standard mex restaurant rice. The birria (3) were so so good, and the sauce kicked them up a bit. The horchata was delicious, too.
Cohort had gorditas. 3 came on the plate. She said that they were really good.
The menu is a bit different from other places I've been to in town, which was refreshing. The menu is only a few pages.
Service was friendly. The restaurant is well decorated, with a nice mix of booths and tables. The inside was very clean.
Good parking out front, the lot is easy to get in/out of.
I think we've found our new place to go when we are wanting some great...
Read moreGreat food, good family environment, relatively fast for a sit down place and if you’re looking for good Mexican food without tempting your sobriety with a XX or Margarita definitely check it out!!! They don’t have much of a food selection, but what they do have is legit! Not sure if it’s just because they haven’t received a liquor license but they don’t serve alcohol as of 8/7/25. Unfortunately their salsas resemble those from a jar at Sam’s club but they do have a choice between Mild, Chipotle, Spicy..etc. Not a deal breaker for me because their AMAZING tortilla chips were flawless BY THEMSELVES. 110% best Tortilla chips in WNC!!! I’m sure this place will only get...
