How many times we've been: 4 (Take out every time)
What we ordered: Build Your Own, Bella Caprese, Privateer, The Bruno, and the Hot Stuff
What we spent: ~$25 each time getting 2 half-subs, a pasta salad, a soda, and tip.
What we liked: The quick service, fresh quality, and delicious pasta salad. The Bella Caprese is one of the best subs we've ever had. Definitely try it! They seem to be constantly cutting fresh veggies, cheese, and meat which really adds a fresh and high quality taste and feel to the sub.
What we didn't like: It's a bit of the way but that's no real fault of the shop. Most times I've been more than half of the customers didn't abide by mask or distance mandates (employees did) but again, it's not really fair for the shop and the enforcement should fall on local authorities.
Our rating system: 5 stars = Great to amazing food and experience. Shout from the roofs to tell people about. Return often and eagerly or find excuses to book a table for a more expensive place. 4 stars = Good to great food and experience. Write home about. Eager to return. 3 stars = Ok to good food and experience. Will offer suggestion if asked but likely would rather go elsewhere. 2 stars = Underwhelming to ok food and experience. Not worth a return and might tell people to skip. 1 star = Bad to underwhelming food and experience. Regret going and tell...
Read moreI went to this place with my wife just a few weeks ago for the first time, and we were HIGHLY impressed. The prices though are a little on the higher side are 100% worth it in regards of quality and quantity, we walked in and order two whole subs with the expectations of a Subway or any other chain sub shop. As we are watching the owner build our subs, our eyes just get wider with every pass of the deli slicer as more and more high quality ingredients get piled onto these full 12 inch hoagie rolls (no shorted inch here folks) and coming to realize that this was a lunch AND dinner set of sandwiches that lye before us.
Aside from the massive sancwhiches the atmosphere is welcoming, the owners and staff are friendly, the pinball machines for which the restaurants namesake comes from were flashing, only making me more excited to come back with a pocket full of quarters to relive my childhood that so many people have forgotten. A very high recommendation for anybody who likes good subs,...
Read moreProbably the best subs around. We became instant fans when we moved back here last year. I gave 4 stars for service because while everyone there is great, friendly, attentive and fast, we are sooooo disappointed in their new hours. The M-F 10-3 means as people who work during the week we will never be able to eat there again. You would think there’d be SOME way to be open at least some of one weekend day. Also, I’ve thought about delivery as a way to get it but the subs we like (The Lester and The Veronica) are not on the Uber/Door Dash menus. Why not offer the whole menu? I know especially small businesses (we have both been small business owners) have their reasons for the things they have to do but there must be some way to meet the customers half way, especially if it will get your more business in the long run. But awesome food and if you can accommodate the hours it is...
