TL:DR version, GO! You're missing out on great pizza if not. They got daily deals and family and kids meals too... but I digress. I was pretty impressed with the food here. The pizza was a traditional parlor pie you'd find back East with well made, hearty dough, a very tasty and robust sauce, topped with a healthy amount of toppings. I was impressed that the pizza wasn't dripping with grease like you generally find in most parlor pies. I didn't find the need to take a Aspirin prophylactically while eating it. Their calzone was equally impressive with a really well made dough that housed all the delicious toppings inside and was baked to perfection. I was also fortunate enough to try some of their desserts and enjoyed them immensely. Their tiramisu was fantastic and they have the best cannoli I've had South of the Mason Dixon. All of this from a little mom and pop shop that has only been around for the last 3 years. I didn't dine in this time around (had to grab it to go) so I can't speak on table service, or other like items, but I can say the food was out and packed in no more that 10 min then brought to me by their lovely staff. I'm hoping to come back again and try to sit down this time and enjoy...
Read moreI’ve been to many pizza places and this one is definitely one of the worst. The pizza is usually undercooked, with cheap ingredients. The people don’t pay attention to what you order because several times we have gotten stuff missing from our orders now. After ordering tacos many times, the last few times there were toppings missing so we specifically made sure to let them know to include all the toppings this time, and yet again no toppings- just plain tortilla and meat (I could’ve made that myself). After I called to speak to the person who ASSURED us that the toppings will be on the tacos, the woman rudely tried to make it seem like we are the ones that have to put the toppings on there as if I had to know this, meanwhile if she would’ve let me known this I would have just put the toppings on there myself. If I could leave 0 stars I would. I definitely wouldn’t waste my money at their establishment again. Good thing they’re in a small town with nothing around to eat or they’d be out...
Read more🍕This was my second time eating here. You honestly can’t say enough about how friendly the staff is. They are very quick, accommodating and down to earth. From the moment you walk in the door until you walk right back out. It’s no secret I love pizza but you don’t come by the style nor quality of pizza/Italian food like this often!!!
I was a few minutes shy of the lunch special for the day so I was slightly disappointed. Next thing I know as I’m sitting there waiting for my food, two slices of pizza are laid down on the table. The special was 2 slices for a certain price. The lady told me we decided to just go ahead and give you the second slice. If that’s not excellent customer care and a way to make a loyal customer I don’t know what is.
Moral to this story..........Don’t miss the opportunity to come try out David’s Pizza! Many options to choose from.
