I'll start by saying I'm not one to disparage a local business. I like to support them. That's why I'm not giving this place 1 start, which they wholeheartedly deserve. The good: they had a high chair, staff was not rude. The bad: everything you touched was sticky. The place hasn't been cleaned in months or possibly years. The kitchen is visibly very dirty. I will be shocked if I'm not sick tomorrow. As for the food, I definitely feel like I over paid for what I got. Portion was kind of small for the price, food was edible, and the general tso chicken was the worst I've ever had in my life. I'm not one for reviews, so the fact that i took the time to write this says a lot. I'd love to know who are the people that gave this 5 stars. The owners don't need pity. I hope they read this and realize this city will grow and if they don't start to have some pride in their business, they're going to flop when something even remotely better...
Read moreI decided to finally give this place a try. I walked in, and immediately, the girl asked if I was ready to order. I said "No ma'am, this is my first time here. I'm looking at a menu to see what to get." Not 10 seconds later, she asked again, very rudely. I understand there may be a bit of a language barrier, but I deal with people from all over the world every day. Rude is rude. I asked a simple question about getting a few quart size portions and extra rice. She just seemed so annoyed and then just ripped the ticket off the pad angrily. Then she just said "15 minute." As politely as good could I told her to just cancel the order. She replied with "well soorryy", very short. I get that people have bad days or things going in, but if it's that bad, then take the day off.
Maybe I'll give it a try again another day when she isn't at...
Read moreNew to town and while we were unpacking we decided to grab some Chinese. This was the place closest to us. My husband’s go to is always general tso. I went with crab Rangoon and pork lo mein. My husband didn’t like the general tso. He said the one back home was better. I tried a bite of his. It was ok but nothing memorable. The crab Rangoon tasted stale. It wasn’t good. Flavor was weird. Probably the worst I’ve ever had. Didn’t realize how bad it could be. The lo mein looked like it would be delicious but it was pretty bland and lacking any kind of flavor. It was kind of dry. I can’t even explain how that’s possible. All in all I’d never try anything else from here. We will look around for other better options for our next Chinese...
