Kick Start Cafe — Restaurant in Ashland Township

First time, pretty good. Great customer service it got pretty busy and there was only one waitress but not a big deal since we were not in a hurry. My daughter had a hot cocoa, I tasted it and it was probably better than biggby. I also had a specialty coffee which was also very good and a generous size. We also had a breakfast panini with sausage and bagel and a cinnamon roll. Panini was good, messy so you can't eat it with hands, it required a knife and fork. Only complaint was the eggs. It was made from scrambled eggs so it all fell out which was inconvienent (and reason for a fork) they should make it from a fried egg. The eggs were also cold compared to the rest of the sandwich... Not sure why. Cinnamon roll was good but the icing was heavy and a little too sweet for my liking. But I'd definitely go back again. I like to take my kids for "coffee dates" and my husband as well so it will be nice to go somewhere close rather than to Sparta or...

I love leaving reviews when we find a great restaurant to visit while we road trip! My family and I were traveling far from home and looking for a place that offered Gluten Free options. We decided to try out this cafe and it was amazing! The staff were VERY friendly and inviting! Their service itself is quite fast! 💨 We loved what we ordered and they even had a desert option ( gluten free monster cookie) which by the way, was freaking AMAZING! 🤩

This coffee shop is very nice! Family owned and run, the service and the experience are bright, inviting and pleasant. A nice, reasonably priced menu for breakfast and lunch, with homemade bread, cookies & cinnamon rolls and delicious food. Great coffee (better than all the chain shops) -- frozen and hot mochas, etc.! Extensive flavored syrup options. They also sell Boar's Head meats and cheeses, including take home slices, etc. Love the creative sandwich options like the "Grilly Dilly!" My son says they have the best hash...
