Carl's at Mahoney — Restaurant in Ashland

We loved our dinner at Carl’s! The food, drinks and service were all amazing! The staff was friendly. They were quite busy on a Saturday night but we were acknowledged by the staff and were seated as sion as they were able! The salad bar was well stocked and fresh. Both my husband and my steaks were cooked to perfection and my husband was so happy with a medium steak done to his liking! He says not many people can make a good medium steak! The food was so good I forgot to take pictures! He also tried a Mojito for the first time and loved it. My Bloody Mary was amazing as well! There was not a Google listing at the time so I showed the staff so it it so good to see that they now have a Google listing and I hope it brings them much more business! I would give more...

We were excited to make Easter reservations at Carls to make are family brunch easier for everyone. Needless to say, while it was great being with family, the entire experience was unacceptable. The presentation of the food and the quality provided was beyond disappointing. When we went through the buffet line, majority of the items were out, the meats (turkey, ham, pork) were floating in broth, the desserts were disappointing and so much more. On a positive note, the park was beautiful. I truly believe the management team was trying their best to make it a positive experience, but will need to regroup for future occasions to enhance the customers...

We ate at Carl’s on a Friday evening early in June prior to seeing the wonderful melodrama in the park. There were very few people dining so we easily got a table and had also called ahead for reservations which they do accept. Our food and service was outstanding! I highly recommend the butterfly shrimp! Our meal also included a small salad bar with some nice options. My sister did comment that they were missing a vinegar and oil salad dressing.
