La Oaxaqueña — Restaurant in Astoria

After my first bite I knew this burrito would be the best I've had in a while! Plenty of fresh veggies, I appreciated the vegetarian options.

The woman who took our order was very friendly and helpful. Food for 3 people only took 10 minutes but was not rushed. Since it is a food cart and it was raining, we said we would wait in our car, and come out to grab the food once it was ready. However, a man working in the cart ran the food straight to my window which I thought was very kind!

The food here is amazing! We got the asada picaditas- tender and flavorful meat, delicious and well seasoned beans and the perfect amount of fresh toppings. We live in an area with a ton of amazing Mexican food and the red salsa here is hands down the best I have ever tasted! Plus, the staff were very nice. The food here is incredible! Authentic Mexican, good quality, and fresh. The molé on the enmoladas is delicious! The tacos durados were also fantastic. We also ordered super burritos and the quesadilla plate- both were good and very generous portions. The couple who run the food truck were very friendly and seem like lovely people.
