Excellent service for this local coffee shop. I first discovered Dark Nectar years ago at the Templeton Farmer's Market.
What can I say... most everybody knows that I am a tea drinker but will purchase coffee as gifts if I smell and taste a delicious blend. I had met Danny years ago at the Templeton Farmer's Market and he would ship bags down to Southern California for me. I was in the area this past week and heard of his passing :( his son Tyler now runs the place and it.
The coffee is smooth, rich and very nice to serve with dessert after a meal or if you need that caffeine 'pick-me-up' in the morning. The locals were here the day I stopped in sitting up at the bar but there are couches, bookshelves and a turntable with music to invite you to chill out and relax.
My favorite is Templetucky it has a nice round flavor...
Read moreHonestly I've never even been here. I called to ask about playing music there and was met with extreme rudeness. Whoever answered made really hurtful remark and said "there's a place called Tent City down the street where you can perform."
So much for the inclusive atmosphere that's advertised on this website.
