This is not the first time this has happened, but it is the worst experience I have had here. I typically don't write bad reviews, but I donāt think I have ever had an experience this bad at ANY establishment.
The funniest/saddest part is that after my wife told her no beans or sour cream, the waitress asked if my wife wanted lettuce IN HER SALAD! I donāt know if the waitress is that slow in the head or if she was being rude, because she said it with a straight face.
My wife, 2 of my children (8 &9), and my 1 year old grandson were sat at 7:32 pm⦠7:46, we finally got menus and our drink order was taken⦠7:53 finally got our drinks and our order was taken. 7:55 another table of 4 was sat. 8:12, they brought out the 2 taco salads⦠8:28 they brought the 2 quesadillas⦠8:29, the other table gets all of their food at the same time (nobody at the table had to wait to eat) 8:48 finally got tired of waitress ignoring our table and tired of waiting for the check. I went up to pay at the register, and to inform them that I was very dissatisfied with the service and donāt know if I will ever be back. The only thing they said was, āOk, thank youā very cheery, like she didnāt care.
These employees donāt care about their customers. Their service has always been sub par. They figure that, being where they are, they donāt have to care about service or their customers. They only care about the money they make.
There is no reason that we were ignored the way we were. I always give a tip. My rule is that when I walk in the door, you start at 15% tip. It goes up/down from there, depending on how attentive the server is. I left a $2 tip on a roughly $60 bill. I donāt know the last time I have left less than 10%.
TL;DR Worst experience at any establishment ever. Server took forever to do anything, ignored us as much as possible, complained when checking out, they...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreCame for my lunch break at 12:25 on a Sunday. It was at about 35% capacity. We asked to sit on the patio, which was a mistake. Tables were dirty, food and flatware on the upswept floor, and flies everywhere. Our table was not wiped down, so I asked for that to happen. The youngling took a dry rag and pushed the rice off of it and asked me if that was better. Waited ten minutes to get a drink order put in, at which point I was eager to order. Waited an 30 additional minutes for my lunch combo⦠at a Mexican restaurant. Thatās gotta be a record. I had six minutes to bolt my lunch down and get back to work. What I managed to shovel in was pretty good. The adults working seemed to be trying to do their own jobs and also oversee the teenage workers, so they were really busy. I donāt see myself risking my hard-earned money, and my only break of a long day, on such an...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis place started out great. Unfortunately it has steadily gone downhill with every subsequent visit. Today was our last visit. I refuse to go back. The prices have gone up, which I can understand. No argument there. But when the prices go up AND the portion sizes go way down, itās a bad combo. The economy is hard for everybody right nowā¦so if I canāt get good value for what Iām paying, Iāll go elsewhere. Especially since good Mexican restaurants are more common than Dollar Generals now. They absolutely CANNOT get your order right, especially for takeout. Repeat it 6 times and have them repeat it back to you? Doesnāt matter. You wanted fajitas? You get an empty taco shell and some salsa. $60 please. A terrible shame since Oglethorpe is short on decent restaurants, but...
