Tanners Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Athens Township

I should’ve walked away the moment they said they didn’t have high chairs. Sunday night so I get why I had to order and pick up everything from bar, drinks included. Got to go bc we have a toddler Bartender was rude, My words exactly for my order “Honey bbq wings, French fries, Honey mustard wings Burger well done, Asked what came on it, she said nothing unless you ask, didn’t mention up charge 1$ for lettuce and tomato. Also got charged for water when I asked for a cup of water, and got charged for the 2nd rootbeer, if I knew it cost I wouldn’t have gotten another. Got the to go order, my husband brought it out to me bc I was loading my toddler up, and they didn’t give us our fries. My husband went back in and said they forgot our side order of fries, bartender says it’s with the burger, husband asks that it doesn’t come with fries? She said no. Husband just left. I paid 4.50 for an up charge on a small order of fries. Very unpleased there. Got home and my husband starts eating and realizes they forgot the bacon. Extremely disappointed as the reviews were so good, Would love to be reached out to for them to correct. Receipt and burger without bacon pictures...

The beer was cheap, ice cold and fresh. Wings came out cooked perfectly and the sauce was spot on. Service was great even through the bar was packed. Will definitely be back.

Update... back in the area for work. Food and service just as good if not better than first time here. Prices are reasonable and I never went more than 10 seconds with an empty beer. I know because I timed it. Making this a regular stop when in...

I was in town making a delivery to a business nearby and I went into the bar only use the bathroom. I asked Joel, the owner, if i could buy a drink ( water or soda) so i want just bumming his facilities. Joel invited me in to use the bathroom, gave me a bottled water, and refused my money.
