Brush Creek Brewing Company — Restaurant in Atkinson

My wife and I love to travel around to try all the different micro brewery's around the country! We have been to them in Iowa, Tennessee, Alabama, Kentucky, Colorado and several more in our home state of Nebraska. We just recently went to Brush Creek Brewing in Atkinson, Nebraska! How ironic after traveling all over to find this gem almost in our own backyard! This place is now without a doubt our favorite! Only 65 miles from our house. Excellent little brewery, meticulously clean, completely awesome brews very friendly people and very outgoing. We visited with the owner for approximately 3 hours. Everything in this place is hand crafted. After visiting I then learn that they do from scratch my most favorite food especially with beer! Homemade hand tossed pizza in many variations! Of course we had to try it and to be honest this is now my favorite pizza place hands down without a doubt!! Also tried the homemade jalapeño cheese dip! Amazing!! I can't say enough about this place! On a 10 scale it is 11. Definitely will be going back!!! I normally do not do reviews but had to write this. This truly is a must try place!!! Super nice people....super clean......an incredible place to come eat and drink with friends! Food is amazing! It's like having a high end Omaha brewery right here in rural Nebraska. If you haven't been here, why not?

*Edit: It has been quite a few years now since this first review and what I can add to it is this......they've gotten even better over time. The whole staff goes above and beyond to make your experience the best it can be. The food has maintained its awesomeness and with added speciality pizzes the variety is mind satisfying. The Aviator has a special spot in my heart and is our go to along with the Popper Dip. Rodney is probably the nicest and most knowledgeable guys I've had the honor of meeting in my life. People........he really cares about you when you walk in.

Stop in. You won't be disappointed. You'll probably be impressed. Rod will want to know your name and he'll remember it the next time you come in.

My husband and I loved this place and will definitely be back!! I don't like beer (I was just there for the pizza), but I tried the Peacemaker (he is always making me try a taste of different beers) - first time in 20 years I've ever wanted a second sip and I drank the rest of it! The food is also great - we had the Aviator pizza and lobster mac'n'cheese and both were very good! The service was top notch (and they were very busy), the food came quickly, the decor was really cool, and the prices were reasonable. I highly recommend trying Brush Creek...
