What a delightful stop along Route 66 this has been - so good we've made it a point to return. Country Aire is a spotless spot with solid food and incredible desserts.

It seems that the whole operation is a positive place to be as the staff are both very friendly but willing to suggest great places to visit in the area.

The kitchen is on point with food coming out quickly and fresh.

I had a club sandwich which includes bacon and that bacon could have starred in its own show - very flavorful and plenty of it. This wasn't your ordinary club sandwich.

We also had a chicken salad sandwich which was first-rate as well. Very flavorful and plenty of chicken salad on the sandwich.

Fortunately we planned ahead as I saved room for cheesecake which was, no exception, the best restaurant cheesecake I have ever had.

We also had a slice of peach pie and it was outstanding. Apparently Lumi, who is the co-owner and pie queen, has won a bunch of awards for her pies and I would give her an award if I had one to give.

Just a positive experience and we even got to see the new American Giant...

Service was excellent. The food was wonderful. Menu was wonderful with selections i would never had expected. The restaurant was very busy when we we were there and yet we had our drinks in nothing flat and the waitress wasted no time to come and get our food order. Everyone was super friendly and a great atmosphere in the restaurant. I had a greek wrap and my friend a ruben and they were both superb. The entire establishment was nic and clean, including restrooms. We did not have dessert but the pies in the cooler sure looked inviting. When we paid our bill, a gentleman from Michigan made mention of the quality and quantity of food for the price charged, more than reasonable. We live 70+ miles away and this was our first time there however, we will not hesitate to drive back to patronize them again. It was truly a wonderful dining experience. Thank...

After a long adventurous day we decided to stop in after seeing boasted chicken on the menu online. The parking lot was fairly full but we were seated right away and our waitress was on the ball getting us served. We were able to order quickly and were told there would be a wait on the chicken as it takes time. We both got the chicken and dumplings for our soup. It was kind of sub par and the dumplings mushy as if it were overcooked. The salad was fresh though which was appreciated. The chicken was hot and delicious along with the mashed potatoes and green beans. The meal also comes with complimentary ice cream and they have a nice selection of that as well! We decided to get a slice of cheesecake to take home as well and it was amazing! The prices were unbelievably cheap too. If I ever find myself out that way again, I will absolutely be...

I eat out a lot, especially on the road. I'm drawn to Mom and Pop places and so I gave Country-Aire in Atlanta a shot - and it was one of the best home-cooking meals I've ever had! I had steak and eggs; the steak was tender and flavorful, the eggs were delicious, and the potatoes...oh boy. They were old-school fried potatoes and I was immediately whisked back about 35 years to my grandmother's table. I got dessert, too, which was a lovely cake-and-mousse concoction called a chocolate frog. I'm going to be sad at my next meal because whatever it is, it won't be this. Also, the service was prompt and friendly & the restaurant was clean. The restaurant was full of regulars, which made the vibe excellent. What more can you ask for? Extra bonus: AWESOME roadside attraction statue outside! It's a custom-made fiberglass waitress holding a pie.

Stopped for a late lunch at Country-Aire Restaurant while driving Route 66 and had a fantastic experience! I ordered the steak horseshoe, which was recommended by our friendly waitress. I had never heard of this dish before, but I’m so glad I tried it. It was delicious and very satisfying. The service was terrific, everyone was welcoming. The entire place was clean, including the restrooms, which is always appreciated when traveling. Although I was too full for dessert, they had a huge selection of homemade pies that looked amazing. Next time I’ll definitely save room! This place is a gem on Route 66, great food, friendly people, and a cozy atmosphere. Highly recommend stopping here, you won’t be disappointed!
