Highly disappointed at this location. I am a repeat customer to this store and today was the worst service I’ve had. I ordered a pizza online on July 26,2020 at 2:53pm. Got the confirmation which stated that it wouldn’t be prepared until 3:15pm. ok No biggie. Receipt said it should be delivered at 3:45pm. It is now 4:22 pm and no pizza. No courtesy call or anything to inform a paying customer that they would be running behind. So I called the store and an older man proceeded to tell me that if its not there than I must have put the wrong address. Yeah,NO! I have an account, my info is correct and doesn’t change, and I was looking at the web receipt with my correct address. I AM A REPEAT , LOYAL CUSTOMER. Literally ordered from them this past Friday. Since when do you accuse customers of being wrong instead of apologizing and figuring it out. Then he CONTINUES to tell me I messed up. He says that he’ll call the driver and see where he is. 5 mins later I call back to cancel the order because there is no way that pizza is fresh and hot after an hour. Read morePlaced an order first thing at 11am online, when they opened. The estimated delivery time was 11:46. I called the restaurant at 12:30, an hour and a half from when I placed the order, to inquire where the order was. I was put on hold for four minutes, when another employee answered. I told him the issue, and he put me on hold for another three minutes. Then a completely different employee answered who had "no clue what I was referring to" to which I disconnected. I placed an order with Pizza Hut up the street, got my pie BEFORE the estimated timeframe. Ate my pizza, only to get a call at 1:15 from Marco's from the delivery driver trying to "deliver my pizza" nearly two and half hours later to which I declined the order and told her to take it back to the store.
This is not the first occurrence of problems from this particular restaurant. Our pizza always reaches us a bit late to where it's lukewarm, but we loved the product so much we never complained. Even after receiving multiple calls from lost delivery drivers who couldn't find an apartment complex three minutes STRAIGHT down the road. I placed an order Sunday at the one at 2331 Bolton Road Suite A Atlanta, GA 30318 for 4 pizza’s to be delivered to my 6 year old son’s classroom party at 11:30 a.m. (4 miles from his school) for this Monday. They charged by card Sunday and said the pizza would get there before 11:30 a.m. So I called my son’s school to see what time they actually got there just to find out they never bothered to delivered them! I called to find out what happened and they said it wasn’t in their system for this morning, yet my card was charged the day before. So the manager said he could get them ready in 15 minutes and deliver them in another 10. I wasn’t given an apology for their mistake nor was I offered any kind of compensation to keep my business! This is horrible customer service and extreme irresponsibility on Marco’s pizza. Lesson learned: never rely on them to surprise a group of 1st graders because they are unreliable!
