Xu's Golden Dragon Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Atlantic

Must say after going here for a few years, today was frustrating. After placing my order and paying for it, I found that after getting back to my car that my order was not complete. I went back and told the very young girl of the error and she never said a word, not one! She grabbed the fried rice out of my sack and returned it to the back all the while I'm trying to tell her not to take my rice that I paid for that. She came back from the kitchen empty handed so I asked "where is my rice" , she ignored me and then proceeded to write down again, the part of my order . Shrimp and fried rice. I can't tell you how many times I repeated my order at the very begining. Another young lady came over to assist with the confusion . She went back and got my rice for me. Now with order finally complete I sat down to wait for the second time. After about 10minutes the cook brought it out. Got home only to realize the order was wrong again. She gave me chicken fried rice instead of shrimp fried rice. They stole a dollar from me as the chix is a dollar cheaper. For Shame. My advise, make sure the person behind the counter understands plain English and double check your order...

[02/10/2023] Earlier around 5:40pm my family and I went in to have an wonderful dinner at this place. Everything seems nice, clean, and food were delicious. However, the only blond waitress that works that time was horrible. Her attitude and tone towards us was rude! That's make me ask myself a question, is it cuss we're brown people? Or is it cuss she hated her job but she have no choice but to work to make a living? What's her problem? She was nice to everyone but us. Then have us waiting for 30mts for our check cuss she couldn't find it. I couldnt wait anymore I have to work and our home is 40mnts drive from Atlantic IA. We went straight to the cash register and waited there for her then she came and instead of handed it she kinda sneaky threw it at my husband hand. I saw it all but I don't want to be make a commotion while other people trying to enjoyed their dinner plus my husband wanted to get out of there asap. He can't handle her...

My family absolutely loves eating here! The food is always delicious and they give large portions. The restaurant and bathrooms are very clean. We really like the blonde waitress Lisa. She is so friendly and efficient. She makes sure to check on her customers frequently and tends to their needs. She is very professional and personable. My kids absolutely love her. This is our absolute favorite restaurant and we drive 45 miles once a week to eat there. I'm not sure where the other negative comment came from but I don't believe any negativity towards Lisa. I have been going there weekly for over a year and have never seen her be anything but up bear, kind and professional. I'm sorry if anyone had a bad experience.
