Chen's Garden Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Auburn

We order delivery from here about once a week. I was so happy to find places to deliver in auburn as on the weekends I don't like to leave the house and I don't really like eating out as I prefer being comfortable at home... Anyways...

All the food we have tried so far has been absolutely wonderful! We love love love the crab rangoon! We also always get egg drop soup, shrimp fried rice, and lo mein all of which is fantastic. We switch up main dishes every order but I've never had a bad meal from here.

The delivery service is also super prompt, and it's only a $2 fee which is less than most other common delivery services. They always arrive very quickly, and the guy who's always delivered for us is very polite and curtious. I always make sure to tip him well for his excellent customer service, since everyone should tip well when you're being lazy or cannot leave home and making someone bring you food. Just food for thought...

All the food was fresh piping hot not greasy not overly salty. Surprisingly the beef with tender melt in your mouth instead of fatty/tough/salty like I expected from other substandard buffets I'd become accustomed to. Chinese buffets have low bars of mediocrity, abut this humble small town family owned & operated buffet restaurant was a delightful suprise. And with tax, this smorgasbord came to just $11.50.. This is our favorite Chinese rest to go to between Dacula and all of Barrow county so I am already a little biased. But they were on fire. Our food is never cold it’s always warm and I always order Mongolian beef (delivery). Tonite it was so hot and so tender and so juicy it’s the best I’ve ever had from any restaurant including theirs. Even the extra side of broth was perfect! Mongolian beef starts to get tough when it starts to cool so to have it juicy and tender all the way through the meal was in my opinion, perfection.
