Not sure what the issue was but this was my first time trying to use the rewards program and I was presented a code to give the cashier to get a discount on Ice Cream. They told me to scan the barcode but I told them there is none it says to give the cashier the code number presented. I showed them and the manager, she was extremely rude and refused to even try anything or help and just kept saying to scan the barcode or we can't do anything. The cashier finally said he found where to enter the code and I got my discount but made the entire situation upsetting. I was extremely nice about it too but she was just absolutely horrible about it for no reason.
They had also forgotten about my kids meal ice cream and I refused to go back up and ask due to how the manager handled the situation prioror but what made it worse was the crew was huddle up in the front talking but they kept looking over at us which makes us believe that we were being talked about like we did something wrong just because we wanted to use the apps copoun.
We finished our meal and left, what soured a meal we tend to enjoy was just horrible customer service from the manager and to be in a position like that and act and treat a paying customer like they are causing you trouble for trying to use the App and a code instead of trying to figure out how to use the code or see why this happened but made me to be some jerk I'll probably never come back.
I had figured out why I got a code on my own from messing with the app, it is setup a bit confusing, like most other apps you either use the deal in a mobile order like it says or get a code to give which is why I hit code, once you do there is no going back as on the page you hit mobile order or code there is a barcode to scan which the app didn't make clear. A simple mistake but something DQ app team can simplify and fix by saying use in mobile order or in store then instore code and barcode is given but the app issue isn't on the store, that's a corporate issue that needs to...
Read moreUnfortunately, I cannot recommend this Dairy Queen to anyone. After receiving coupons in the mail, I decided to treat myself on a Friday Evening after work. The door was locked as I approached for dine in. I could see the staff locking the door while I was right outside. I didn't find it a deal breaker as I respect closing times. I decided to get back in my car and wait for the drive through.
I placed my order with a bit of difficulty, having to repeat myself a few times. I did confirm my order over the speakerphone before I pulled ahead. When I got to the window, the attendant refused to take my coupon. I was bewildered. Nowhere on the coupon does it say "at participating locations" or "select stores" etc. which really let me down. I didn't even get to see the proof in the blizzard order by seeing it held upside down.
I paid for my meal that I ordered instead of leaving it, because it would have been a waste otherwise. However, once home I discovered portions of the order to be incorrect. Despite confirming over the speakerphone and reading my receipt to confirm my order again, it was still wrong.
I have not been this dissatisfied in a very long time. I cannot recommend this location to anyone, and will instead tell them to support the Fielders Choice across the street. I know I'll be going there...
