Leaf's Deli — Restaurant in Auburn

This deli came highly recommended but fell short of our expectations. For $8.99 each, we had the italian sub and chicken bbq sandwich. Both came jn their hoagie roll which was less than 6 inches long, without measuring it, it seemed like 4 inches ling. There was more bread than filling. Besides Italian sandwich meat, the italian sub lacked the flavors I was looking for, at the very least, a herb and olive oil dressing and pepperocinis. The chicken bbq sandwich was so so. Pretty pricey for what we got which seemed more like downtown Seattle prices. Mind you, I realize prices have gone up since Covid and inflation is on the rise, the prices still seem out of bounds. One glimmer is the staff ... friendly and courteous. It seems they recently added hot food with the addition of teriyaki. I may go back and try it some time. Stopped by one day to get my husband a sandwich and a drink and enjoyed the deli. It was cozy and inviting and the cashier, I'm assuming the owner, was great with my daughter. My daughter isn't big on meeting new people but she played peek-a-boo with her and was giving her high fives and my daughter was giggling. My husband also loved the sandwich. They have great selections of sandwiches and baked goods, it's a little something for everyone. It's nice too to see a place that offers milk for a beverage instead of soda. Will definitely...

The food is delicious, I usually get the chicken bacon pesto, cob salad, or the Philly. These are my favorites. I am sure whatever your flavor is, you simply can’t go wrong. The food is made with love and the ingredients always taste fresh, Iv never had a bad experience! The service is always friendly I am always welcomed with a friendly smile. Even on a bad day the service here will make you forget. This is my favorite deli! I would give them a more than 5 stars...
