First of all, I went to pick up a order that came in at 450pm and was said to be ready at 500pm I got there at 515pm. When I walked in the girl running the register didn't even know weather or not the order had alry been paid for. Then proceeded to call which I am assuming is the manager and tell him they have no pasta which the order was for three different pasta dishes and was supposed to be already ready. Then She went and grabbed pasta from the storage and then they finally proceeded to make the order. I had to wait for an hour on the order. And my whole night of work was pretty much ruined due to this incompetence. Also while I sat there waiting I witnessed another customer come in to get their order in which the women was paying with cash the cashier then opened her drawer and didn't even have the correct change to give the women and her excuse was I'm sorry nobody told me we didn't have change well in my opinion if your job is to run the register then that is something you should know also something you should know is whether or not you have the correct ingredients to make orders that you received. a Also during this hour that I was sitting there all I saw were children playing and joking around when they are the ones that are supposed to be cooking and running the place. And lastly the entire time I sat there I saw this girl put on gloves one time one time even when she handed me my order she did not have gloves on she had no mask on nothing. And I never saw her within an hour wash your hands...
Read moreIt was an interesting experience. I called to place the order for pickup and was asked to wait, which was fine. I arrived before the hostess was able to get back to me, so I hung up and walked in. She was working with someone else, no big deal, but when she went back to the phone after a few seconds she put the phone down saying "They hung up, I guess they couldn't wait? You know, I bet they never worked in the food industry - I think everyone should have to work in a restaurant so they know what it's like." Then proceeded to talk smack with the person she was working with for another few minutes.
I'm a patient guy. Maybe she was having a rough night or something, I'm not sure? But she finished with that customer then took me. I ordered and sat down and waited patiently. I watched. She spent more time worried about back of house conversation than front of house customer service. Several times, people would walk to the front counter, and they would wait a minute or two while she was focused on a conversation happening in the kitchen.
After 30 minutes of waiting, the pizza came out. Got it home, and ate it. Super tasty. If it wasn't for the experience inside of the shop, I'd probably come back.
For reference, I've worked every position in a restaurant (host, busser, prep, line cook, bartender) and am currently a customer experience manager (and have been in customer service my whole life).
She has signs of promise, but if she's hosting in the front, her focus should be up...
Read moreMy family and I stopped in for supper. We were in the area and it was supper time and the kids wanted pizza. We did a quick internet review and saw where this place was and that it had good reviews. We walked in (on a Sunday evening) and we had the place to ourselves. We were greeted by Ray who took our drink order (and learned our names immediately.) While waiting for our food (pizza, calzone and salad), Ray brought garlic knots out to our table. I looked at my wife and asked if she ordered them...she did not. They were on the house. Then the salad was brought out...Ray thought we were disappointed in the size of it, so he brought us another salad (also, on the house.) Everything was very VERY good. The knots, the dipping/marinara sauce, the calzone and the pizza...everything. There are some reviewers who mentioned the prices. My guess is, the people who are griping about the cost are used to eating $5 frozen pizzas. Our large/8 slice, 2 topping pizza was $12.99. Who else gives you that pizza for that price? When we got up to leave, all of the employees came out to say goodbye and wish us a pleasant evening. If we are ever in town again, this will be the...
