The Forgotten Grain Bakery is a small town Kansas bakery with a daily, made from scratch lunch special. Today, the lunch special was slow-cooked beef tips over mashed potatoes, vegetable of your choice,and dinner rolls. The beef tips and the dinner roll recipes were from the owner/bakers grandmothers. This was stick to your ribs eating, like if you were going to work cattle the rest of the day. Their much lighter home-made chicken salad is very good.
