For the first couple of months that this McDonald's was open I had several issues, when I tried to call to complain, the only number listed to contact this McDonald's, was a Winter Haven number and each time I called it would go to voicemail. So one morning I around 5am I ordered a big breakfast meal with no sausage but with bacon and extra bacon, when I got home and opened the big breakfast there was no sausage and no bacon, so no meat at all! So later that day, I was driving by so I stopped and just ordered a soda and told them about my experience earlier that morning and the manager said she couldn't help me because I needed to call at the time of the problem, by that point I was so frustrated, I didn't even try to explain and just left. Then about a week later at around the same time I ordered a large hot caramel mocha with whole milk. I don't usually open my coffee until I get home because it's too hot, well I got home and it was plain coffee, so I try to call again and AGAIN I get a voicemail at the winter haven number. So I get back in my car and go back to get the right order, since it was so early, they remembered me and gave me the right order with apologies. Well this morning I ordered a large hot caramel mocha and I get home and it tasted like pure chocolate, this time they finally have a number that gets answered at the Polk City location and the manager asked me to come back to get the right order with apologies but my goodness, this is getting ridiculous, there were a few more incidents in between the times I've mentioned but I figured you get the point! I'm so frustrated with this McDonald's, it's in a very convenient location for me but I may have to just start going out of my way again to not have to stress about having an issue.    Read moreIâve been coming here 4 to 5 days per week for the last five years and 9 times out of 10 they get my coffee wrong. This is the only McDonaldâs between my house and where I work. I have spoken with Colleen the (manager) on multiple occasions about this and tried to explain how if it happens to me this often then how many other customers are driving down the interstate just to get pissed off when they take a sip of their coffee and realize that thereâs no sugar in it. she has given me the excuse that the machine was clogged or that third shift didnât fill it, but if it is a continuous problem then why would she not make it a priority to verify first thing when she gets there that itâs working properly and has sugar in it? It has gotten to the point where (starting now) I will take a sip of my coffee before pulling to the next window or doing anything and if itâs wrong, I will simply ask for the sugar and make it myself sitting in the drive while everyone waits for me to make it right. I have tried being polite and professional and this morning I was already late for work but waited for Colleen to give her the professional courtesy of letting her know something was wrong. She could not make time for me so now I am letting her and everyone else know just how dissatisfied I am with her...
   Read moreTonight around 11pm i was denied service at arbyâs across the street, so i went to McDonalds because their drive thru is advertised as open until 12 am. I was also denied service at this McDonalds because the staff on shift collectively decided they want to close early and not serve any of the multiple people in the drive thru. They completely ignored everyone while the drive thru speaker repeats the recording âAre you using your mobile app today.â They didnât even have the decency to tell us they were closed (even tho they werenât supposed to be). I understand itâs late and these employees want to go home but they are literally refusing to serve multiple customers AND stealing company time by being clocked in and not doing their job. Not only that, but we paid on the app and asked for a refund and was told by one of the little girls there that it would automatically be refunded. This is not true. The refund has to be initiated but she didnât care to do it herself or at least explain how we can do it through the app. Good thing we figured it out ourselves because not a single employee at this McDonalds cared to help anyone. Its truly pathetic how no one has any kind of work...
