Only giving 2 stars because I talked the the manager and she was very understanding of the situation. Placed an order and got the wrong order (it came via doordash instead of what i thought would be regular delivery). We called to get it fixed and didn't touch the one we got in case they needed proof. For some reason this order also came with 2 empty boxes. The young lady I spoke to on the phone said it would take 15 minutes which I thought was reasonable since the food was ready and the delivery person just grabbed the wrong one. WRONG! I called back one time past the 15 minutes and the automated phone line said there was just a delay in delivery and I asked to maybe get a refund since by this time we just decided to eat the incorrect order which was now cold. The same young lady on the phone who i spoke to when the order was wrong answered and I asked to talk to a manager twice after stating my reasoning and she got frustrated when I had to ask for a third time. She hung up on me stating "I don't have to do anything for you." I don't know if she was new or just was having a bad day but I don't think I'll be getting delivery from here again. Our food arrived shortly after this (it took 40 minutes) and I had to reach the manager through our second delivery person since the young woman at the store was incredibly rude. I do understand that various businesses have made alternate operating procedures because of the pandemic, but this does not change Customer Service. I ordered 3 medium pizzas on 25 April 2020. I ordered the pizzas around 8:30 p.m. It was 9:50 and my pizzas had not been delivered. I called Papa Johns to see how much longer it would take for my pizzas to arrive. I kept getting people who would answer the phone and say, "Papa John, we're closed", and hang up. I kept calling back trying to get their attention before they say they were closed and was met with the same response and, again, they hang up the phone. One phone call, the person answered, "Papa John! We're still closed". I called at least 15 times, each time the same response. I finally got the manager on the line. I first asked him about the pizzas before I knew he was the manager. I then asked was he the manager...he said yes. I asked him why would his staff answer the phone in that way. He stated well because they are off the clock. This was around 10:00. My issue is why answer the phone if your response is to say you're closed. This, in my opinion, is customer service...
Read moreI called the one on windsor Spring rd. This isnt the first time ive had an expierence like this. I placed my order at 2:07pm, (11-14-15) the woman told me it would be 30mins. At 3:31pm, my pizza is still not here. I called and asked what the estimation time was now. The dude told me he had been there since noon, and no one placed an order. That my order would take 1hr, 15mins. I hung up. Discussed this situation with my boyfriend, and he called up there his self. They then put him on hold for TEN MINUTES, while we stayed looking out our kitchen window. We could see the driver SPEEDING down our rd, running up to our door. We finally hear the dude come back on the phone and asked if our driver was there (my bf was on the phone, i talked to the delivery dude, asking about our wait time) he told me he just got off the phone with them, which is told us why they kept us on hold for 10mins, cause they didnt come back to the phone until he got to the door, then told us he couldnt help us anymore. The dude had the WRONG pizza, had to go back for ours, and when i finally got it. It was LEGIT COLD!! We had to heat it in the microwave, and im not exaggerating. This is not the first...
