Parlor Doughnuts — Restaurant in Aurora

I ran up on this adorable shop in a Plaza next to my Eye Dr. It is absolutely one of the best and unique donuts I have ever had. They are made like a layered croissant. The dough is very flaky and the flavors run through it. I ordered the lemonade for myself and the turtle cheesecake for my nephew. As you can see from my photo I already consumed the lemonade one. It was just the right amount of flavor throughout. It was not too sweet. At least not for me. The light and flaky go well. They are not to heavy like other donuts. There are many flavors to choose from. I am so happy this donut shop is in walking distance to my home. To access it you turn off Parker Road to Belleview. Its located in the plaza that is at the light. You can miss it if you aren't looking for it. Take the small road to the right that leads to the plaza on the left. Like BAM you will discover it when you drive to the front. The service, cleanliness and appearance was amazing. Very Chic and trendy display for you too see all the delicious options. We enjoyed the donuts but were bothered by the pricing. There was a huge sign on the floor in front of the donuts that detailed prices as follows: $2.75 each for 1-3, $2.50 each for 4-7, and so on. We purchased 5 and noticed on our e-receipt after we left that we were charged $2.95 each. So what happened here? We were either 1) ripped off or 2) the store increased their prices but didn’t bother to update their signage. Neither of these scenarios are good.

Donuts are tasty but service lacks a little and I'm conflicted on my rating. Let's go 4 stars for the donut but 2 stars on service.

The donuts are gourmet for sure! Cronut base with plenty of accoutrements to choose from. They can be overly sweet if you're not prepared and they pair well with coffee. The peanut butter variant is my favorite!

Both times I've gone in for a keto donut and both times I've been told they don't have any. The first visit I had already paid because the guy in front said they have more in the back. None left, I was offered another donut but felt cheated out of my money as other donuts weren't priced the same. My last visit on 1/15, the lady helping me seemed confused and very distracted; none of the staff that I could see were wearing masks, despite the ongoing mandate.

Because of the pricing, I would not stop here for a morning dozen to treat my team.
