Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Austin

I have to say, much like the most recent reviews. That the quality of food here has gone way downhill since getting new owners and the old Manager Mike leaving! I ordered (not my usual) a much more expensive pizza since they just started a new deal where you get 30% off orders during lunch. What I got was not worth it@all, even with the discount! Take a look@my pics, it was so paper thin, you could literally see through it! And I ordered it w/extra sauce as ALWAYS&as ALWAYS they mostly never add extra sauce! Also, 3rd time in a row, my free order of cheese sticks did not come w/a blue cheese dressing cup! Idk if I'll frequent this location anymore, I'll just go to Buda, might be farther but@least I'll get what I ordered. Yes, I ate it, but I didn't enjoy it! I do have to give a shout-out to the employees who are there, they continue to show up even as they struggle to keep this location fully staffed! I placed a large order vía the papa johns app. They now send delivery orders through door dash. Either way the original delivery driver delivered my order to the community main office/club house asked a random person/kid if they knew me. When that person said yes he handed over my order to who ever they were and changed my order states to complete but he never arrived at my door as requested per delivery instructions. I called the store and they tried to say my order was delivered, I had to tell them that I was literally texting with the driver and what he did with my order. They then reluctantly resent my order. The second door dash driver actually called to verify how to get to my unit/lot number in my community. Unfortunately the order was cold and where 1 of the pizzas was requested with easy sauce, the whole order was made with no sauce and my wings were barely coated in sauce. I ordered my saved Go-To pizza from Papa John's that I named "The Rudeboy"...! I have it saved because I order this style of pizza and choice of toppings more than any other. "The Rudeboy" is a Deep Dish pizza made with orginal red sauce (not Deep Dish sauce), Chicken & Pepperoni all baked Well Done to get a extra crispy crust. The store that I order from is located in South Austin between William Cannon & Slaughter on Thaxton Road. Literally every time I order from this location the pizza is not only made to perfection with fresh ingredients and baking, but is made fast and delivered on time if not earlier than estimated. I also always add a custom instruction for the delivery driver to call ahead when leaving the store. Every time it is followed through on allowing me to walk outside and meet the driver.
