Iāve tried every Smoothie King in Austin at least once, and after a year of doing so, I can say with confidence that the Smoothie King off William Cannon is the only one I trust to start my mornings.
Maria and Kayla, the two employees I see regularly, deserve a huge shout out. Their customer service is unmatched, kind, compassionate, attentive, and consistently willing to go above and beyond. Whether it is remaking a smoothie without hesitation, asking thoughtful questions to personalize my drink to my exact preferences, or simply greeting me with genuine positivity, they make every visit a great experience.
Because of their effort, I go out of my way every morning, even though I work in the opposite direction, just to stop at this location. That is how important it has become to me. A year ago, I made the switch from a heavy breakfast to a Smoothie King smoothie every morning, and it has made a significant impact on my life, leading to weight loss, better energy, and an overall healthier routine. For me, Smoothie King is not just a drink, it is part of a lifestyle change, and I am incredibly grateful to Maria and Kayla for the consistency and quality they deliver day after day.
They absolutely deserve recognition, a raise, and a promotion for the way they represent Smoothie King. If you are in Austin and want the best experience, this is the Smoothie King to visit.

I walk in and there was one young guy standing against the wall, girl at the register who was sitting down next to another girl who was eating avocado toast. I was not greeted at all. I had to walk up the register and place an order. It was very unprofessional looking seeing employees just sitting around. I ordered my shake, while Jenni, who was the cashier, and her other female employee shoveled the food in her face. There was another young woman who was working in the back yelling in Spanish, "Jenni!! Jenni!". The young kid made my shake. He never even said 3 words to me. He was very curt and just handed me my drink.
Overall the service at this place was lackluster. To the owner, I do not expect your employees to be busy all the time, but when Jenni is scrolling on her and her co worker eating at the register, while the young male employee is just standing against the wall, it is very very unprofessional, not to mention a health violation by the girl eating at the register. I am really not sure why they needed 4 people working. They could have gotten away with two people working. They should have suggested add ins like fruit, or collagen. I thought it was even funnier when there was a tip option on the POS system. Why should I tip for "lackluster" service. Jenni did not even get offf her chair to ring me up. She sat the whole time. I live 20 minutes away and on MULTIPLE occasions, I've arrived to the store about 20 minutes before closing and they already locked the doors and shut down the store!! THIS IS TERRIBLE SERVICE. The worker (a young man) was inside and just shook his head, like "No we're closed." Obviously because the door was locked. And to make matters worse, I sat in my car furious because I wasted 40 minutes(there and back) of time and gas, while watching several other customers walk up to the door, pull on it, and get turned away. As far as the rude young lady that works here, I've had my encounter...assuming we're talking about the same one. Only thing is she wasn't rude to me but I watched her be rude to another customer. The customer was actually paying one of the workers a compliment by saying that his shake was "actually good this time" and the female employee responded by saying in a very snarky manner, "Well, if you don't like the shake, why do you keep getting it?"
