La Taqueria — Restaurant in Avenal

My sister and I visited La Taqueria on September 7....I wanted to try their food....I will never go back there again.... Spanish rice was so hard and bland....the beans(how can you go wrong with cooking beans) were watered down and bland...Chile Verde....no taste......I was so so disappointeded....and my sisters plate..the same thing....I can't believe I wasted my money there.....I gotta be...

Don't let the rough exterior deter you from stopping, the food is excellent very well made authentic flavors. The meat was very tender, well seasoned and cooked to perfection. We had the carne asada quesadilla, barbacoa and lingua tacos, rice and beans. The homemade red salsa is very spicy 🥵🔥, the salsa Verde is mild citrusy and light. Highly recommend a stop.
